2023.06.10 04:30 Forza_7130 What happened?
| I'm absolutely devastated at what my decision to have a acne scar treatment done has done to make face shape and face proportions. Im absolutely shocked to say the least. I had subcision plus Radiesse which in hindsight seems way over the top. And now I'm left with an extremly disproportionated and boxy jaw/jawline. I am afraid that this is forever and I won't ever see my baseline face again. Wish I had n3ver ever done anything. Now not only my skin but my whole face is ruined for good and I don't know how I'm supposed to keep going like this... And it's not weight gain,lighting or angle changes. It's just my destroyed face. The long-awaited “Knives Out” sequel is finally here, and while “Glass Onion” is a Netflix movie, it’s getting a hybrid release in theaters and on the streaming service at different times.
Dental Implants in Local Area Cost Almost Nothing!
This time murder is already in the air when Detective Benoit Blanc arrives in Greece upon the invitation of a billionaire to partake in a murder mystery party — though the luxurious vacation takes a turn when an actual murder takes place and Blanc peels back the layers of this unexpected crime.
Daniel Craig gets the Jennifer Coolidge treatment as he returns as Blanc alongside an entirely new cast, including Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monáe and Kathryn Hahn. Rian Johnson is back as writer and director.
Here’s how to watch “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” when it comes out.
Is Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery in Movie Theaters?
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery had its global premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2022, followed by a screening at London Film Festival in October. Now, the movie is getting Netflix’s widest theatrical release to date with a “sneak preview run” from November 23 to November 29, 2022, followed by a streaming release in December. So, you can either head to the theaters and make it a Thanksgiving watch or add it to your Christmas watch list. You can visit the film’s official website, to see showtimes near you.
Is Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Streaming Online?
The murder mystery movie is getting a worldwide streaming release on Netflix, on December 23, 2022. So, if you can’t make it to the theatres in November when it premieres, you can always be a couch detective and solve the mystery with Blanc when the film arrives on streaming during the holidays.
When is “Glass Onion” streaming on Netflix?
If you aren’t able to see the murder mystery in theaters (and again, you only have a one week window to do so), it’ll be streaming on Netflix on Dec. 23, just in time for Christmas.
Where to Watch Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Online?
While a streaming release date has not yet been announced, we can give an educated guess based on previous Walt Disney Studios films. Though there’s no set pattern, many Disney movies will stream close to 45 days after theatrical release, usually on the Friday after Disney+’s regular day to release new movies. If that’s the case, Glass Onion could be streaming on Disney+ as early as December 30 — or if the service wants to jump the gun, December 25 as an early Christmas present.
However, Thor: Love and Thunder, which is also a Marvel movie, was released in theaters on July 8 before it came to Disney+ and digital platforms on Sept. 8, timed to Disney+ Day. If Glass Onion follows the same trajectory, we may be able to stream it from the comfort of our homes by mid-January.

| I used these two products last night, I have used them separately before and I'm not sure if I've used them together in the past or not. I woke up today with my eyes nearly swollen shut and I'm going through all my daily habits to rule things out. Are these safe to combine? (P.s. 2023.06.10 00:59 peeaches M(31) Odd urinary symptoms for the past 12-18mo. Prostatitis/UTI/Candida/Diabetes/Cancer/Microbiome? Full info in post.
Hi there.
Admittedly, I'm sure that I've waited way too long to bring this up with...anyone, but, here we are. I will try to be concise.
Background info:
Male. 31 Years old. 5'8", 180-190lbs. Caucasian.
Medications: Vyvanse (50mg) AM + Adderall 10mgIR PM, for treatment of ADHD.
Other drugs/addictions/vices: Caffeine (typically in the form of caffeinated sparkling water beverages like Bubly/AHA and the occasional diet-soda, less frequently coffee and low-sugar energy drinks) and Nicotine (vapes, switched to electronic cigarettes from conventional in 2018 after smoking for 3 years)
Diet: Admittedly, not great. I eat a lot of take-out and fast food, albeit much less than I used to. I was ~250-260lbs in 2017 but was able to slowly and steadily lose weight. Have been stable in the 180s-190s for the past 2-2.5 years
Recent Bloodwork: - A1C: 5.2 (ref <5.7)
- CBC(Incl DIFF/PLT): All within reference range, aside from hemoglobin/hemocrit which were 17.2 (ref 13.2-17.1) and 50.6 (ref 38.5-50.0), respectively.
- Chem Panel: Everything within reference range, including Glucose 86 (fasted) and EGFR 91
- D25 Hydroxy: 32 (ref 30-100)
- Lipid panel: All within reference, Total Chol 136, HDL 41, Triglycerides 132, LDL 73
- TSH: 1.77 (ref 0.40-4.50)
STI Test: Last summer (after my symptoms had already been around for a while) - Clear (herpes, HIV, Gonorrhea, Syphilis) I don't remember what it tested for in entirety, but I do recall trich not being one of the tested-for STIs as I couldn't afford the full panel at the time. Everything that was tested for came back negative.
Symptoms: - Frequent, urgent urination. There are times when I can't seem to make it more than even an hour without having to use the restroom. It's not as if I struggle to pee, and it comes out easily enough with an uninterrupted flow, but I feel like I have more capacity in my bladder than what comes out, despite the pressing "gotta go NOW" feeling. Usually it's still a good amount (I drink a lot of fluids) but there are times where it feels very urgent and I only end up peeing 4-8 ounces. This can happen this way a few more times before settling down, and it's not every time. I do drink a lot of fluids, and am often thirsty. At least some of this I attribute to my medication, but every now and then I'll go a few days without it and issues don't disappear though I haven't quantified if there's any difference or how much.
- Sediment(?) in urine. Often when I go to the bathroom, after peeing, I can visibly see what appears to be white particulates/crystals/powder floating on the top of the water. Also creates a wavy/shimmery shadow across the bottom of the bowl. There are virtually always bubbles, but the quantity/severity of the bubbles seems related to how hydrated I am. Sometimes they can cover nearly the entire surface of the bowl, sometimes it's just a few that hang around near the edge of the bowl. Two days ago, I urinated into a clear container in an attempt to see better if there was anything floating around in there, and there was what looked to be like stringy white/off white-colored mucous floating around and something that could pass as similar-colored tissue, more congealed. I have no idea what it is or how to test it, but I did take a video that I will try to link here when I get home along with a video of the sediment/reflections in toilet bowl
- Occasional discomfort in genital area. Notably the area at the base of the bottom of my penis where the scrotum connects to it, the loose skin area. I don't really know how to describe the discomfort, only that it often feels uncomfortable and I feel the need to move it around a lot as well as my scrotum. Almost feeling like I need to stretch things out. None of it is painful. I did have some minor pain/discomfort in my left testicle 12.26.22, but had gotten the covid booster vaccine on the 24th, was on vacation where my health insurance would not work, and that pain/discomfort subsided by the following day
- Ejaculation not like it used to be. I feel like my ejaculate is lower in volume than it used to be, but thickewhiter, and where it used to shoot out at least a few inches, now it mostly just dribbles out. Orgasms feel much stronger than the ejaculate would signify, if that makes any sense, like they feel very strong and forceful as if there should be a lot, but there just isn't
- Blockage feeling? Some of the discomfort almost feels like a restriction or blockage or something in my urethra, after looking into it it made me think like urethral stricture or something but it doesn't seem to affect my ability to urinate with a steady stream and sometimes the stream is strong, but I think that generic discomfort feeling I mentioned earlier ties into this as it is in that same area between the base of my penis and scrotum
Possibly unrelated symptoms: - White coating on tongue. Sometimes worse than others, can scrape it off with tongue scraper and sometimes it will bleed, sometimes tongue looks better, I do try to brush my teeth at least once a day and do use mouthwash, My girlfriend says I snore quite a bit so I imagine it might be from dry mouth/snoring if its not attributable to anything else.
- Toenail Fungus. I've had this for many years, probably over a decade at this point. Mostly contained to my right foot, once went to podiatrist who said it was onychomycosis. Was supposed to get liver profile done to see if I could handle the oral medication for it and then just never did. Over the past year or two, it seems to have made its way to my left foot, albeit not to nearly the same degree and I'd say its mild on left foot.
- Skin issues. Not sure if keratosis pilaris or fungal acne, but affects mostly my upper arms/tricep side, shoulders, upper back, lower trunk, chest to mild degree, neck at the hairline, forehead, and a bit on my cheeks where facial hair grows. The uppeouter arms have been an issue for me since adolescence and has never gone away, though its severity has varied up and down a lot over the years, but it's always been there.
- Tiredness. I'm often quite fatigued, issue was worse before I began my adhd medication (ive taken them on-and-off since 2014) but I would say tiredness is often excessive, when not on meds I had a job where, without fail, I would fall asleep in every single department meeting or presentation and would frequently nod off at my desk, virtually daily. That is not an exaggeration, was there for two years and did not make it fully through a single meeting. Falling asleep at home while watching tv, or just getting home after work, returning from any activity, etc, just very sleepy. I am always groggy and tired in the morning almost regardless of how much or how good i've slept. There are outliers here and there but for the most part on days where I don't take my adhd medicine I am basically useless and only want to eat and nap all day and do nothing and will still be tired after all of it. Also a natural night owl it seems, regardless of whether I'm on or off my medication, but generally just more sleepy without them
- Syncope. Sometimes after a big stretch, which I do quite often, I will begin to feel very lightheaded and on the verge of losing consciousness. This seems to be a blood pressure issue and due to the autonomic nervous system, when I stand up my heart rate generally shoots up, and often after a stretch my blood pressure drops to where I'm on the verge of losing consciousness. I've only actually fainted from it a few times but have had this occasionally for years now. In 2020 I had been off my adhd meds for 5 months and wanted to re-start them but my resting heart rate was too high at my doctors office and he was concerned. Had a holter monitor, an echocardiogram, and a stress test done and all showed that my heart was healthy enough to handle the stimulant meds, and my resting HR is around 80, but my blood pressure is usually between normal and low. Holter showed a HR range of 50s-160s (without doing exercise), but response to stress test was fine and echo came back fine and when truly at rest heart behaves fine. Not sure if that relates to any of this stuff, but is something I do deal with generally so figured might as well throw it in.
I'm just not really sure what any of this means, and I'm a bit timid/shy and never really felt like I had the time or the comfort level to discuss all of this with my GP that I see every few months.
I just want to know what is wrong with me and feel overwhelmed.
Thank you in advance. Apologies for the profound wall of text, but figured I might as well try and include all of the information I have at my disposal right off the bat in case any of it is relevant.

2023.06.10 00:48 gardeniaskycoffee Accutane low dose
I took accutane about 15 years ago and my acne never went away completely. I had some side effects from it, one of them was almost like arthritis. I think I was taking 60mg before discontinuing the treatment. I’m still struggling with acne and my dermatologist prescribed accutane again but this time at 10mg. I’m curious to know, has anyone had trouble with accutane and tried again with a lower dose? Was the lower dose more comfortable to take or were the side effects still there?

2023.06.10 00:05 yuzu_25 Off pill and on estradiol but not sure if working- advice?
Hey all. I was diagnosed with provoked vulvodynia about a year ago , which seems to be hormonal bc-related in cause. I’ve been on Yasmin for about 10 years, put on it as a teenager for acne. My gyno recommend coming off the pill and using topical e/t cream.
I first tried coming off the pill end of last year, and was off it for about 2 months before briefly going back on, as my skin started going crazy and I wanted to get a acne routine in place before coming off again. I definitely felt a change hormonally during this time - along with acne, mood felt different, my libido skyrocketed and I did feel my pain lessen (although not completely gone, and also was not in a relationship so couldn’t test how it was during sex, which is when I feel pain mostly).
I went back on pill while I sorted my skin out for about 2 months, and then came off again. I also, on my gyno’s advice started a myo-inositol supplement for controlling acne.
I’m currently 5 months off pill now and using the combo cream 3-4 times a week and although my pain has gotten lesser, I still do feel stinging/burning on penetration. I remember when I first saw my gyno a q-tip touching the area made me wince, now I don’t have that which is great, but still feel pain during sex which is getting me down. I also have felt no hormonal side effects from coming off pill like I did first time around which makes me think that the inositol is blocking my hormones from balancing? But I’m reluctant to stop it in case my acne comes back full force again :/
Should I give the treatment more time? My period is also not regular yet so I don’t know if I just need more time for my system to balance . Should I try another treatment option? Very confused and looking to hear others experiences!

2023.06.09 23:52 MONKRAD My Amway/WWG Story. I am ashamed, embarrassed, and extremely regretful.
Sorry about typos, I kinda just typed out this long winded rant.
My wife and I struggle immensely financially. Back in about mid-January, my wife was talking to her sister about our struggles. Her sister told her that she might be able to help us out.
When asked how, she gave the whole speech: My husband and I recently connected with a couple that are gonna walk away from their job at 26 years old, it blew our minds. We pursued them and convinced them to spend time with us, as a matter of fact they agreed to take us under their wings and right now they are in the process of coaching and mentoring us to change the way we make money so we can accomplish similar results in our life and so we can stop sacrificing our lives for a job.
Wife responded: wow that’s crazy, what is it they do?
Got the classic response: That’d be like an hour long conversation and honestly it’s not my information to give. But basically, they teach people how to change the way they make money so it works for them so they can walk away from their jobs and retire young and stop sacrificing their life for a job. If you and your husband are both interested, I’d be willing to put in a word with my mentors the next time we speak and see if they’d be willing to meet with you?
So my wife, understandably excited, asked me if I would be willing to sit down with this couple. Me being skeptical but supportive, I agreed. So we met with this couple over zoom, her sister and husband were in the call as well, and it was a pleasant meeting. Basically went over the themes of friendship and trust, which I can understand, so no real red flags. They gave us homework in the form of a book. So we get the book and read it and the next week we meet again, went over the book, glossed over kinda what this was all about, again no red flags. More homework in the form of annoying audios this time, meet again, get more into the theme of what the business would be like. In my mind it started to seem like a pyramid scheme but they explained it in a way that catered to my hope that it wasn’t. So my dumb money brain didn’t fire off any red flags. More homework again, audios and a board plan.
The board plan was one of the most awful things I’ve ever experienced in my life. Some random dude who has a lot of money stands up in front of a group of ecstatic individuals spouting off the most egregious tripe you’ll ever hear while people go nuts like animals. I was thrown off by the board plan and a lot of the stuff they said, but I told myself, if I could just put up with all of it then it’d pay off. So the next couple of meetings and homework goes as usual and we are finally extended an offer. We were beyond excited to get out there and start building our business. I immediately start talking to my friends and family and god dammit I wish I hadn’t. I managed to get some friends on board and even got some other friends and family to start buying from me. Oh and those board plans, they are EVERY week. You also get signed up on an app called Comminikate where you have to send “kates” aka audio messages every day to your upline and downline. You are told to prioritize it but your mentors barely even respond to you.
So, it’s time. The time all WWG people await for, the time go pay tribute to the holy mecca that is: The Spring Leadership Conference in Las Vegas.
Shortly before it was time to leave for Spring Leadership, my wife had some heavy mental health issues that needed to be treated, she signed up for treatment that would require her to not go to the function due the scheduling conflict. She broke down at the thought of not going to the function because she felt she would disappoint our mentors and her sister. I reassured her it’s fine and that her health was what was most important. She called her sister, crying, saying that she was gonna go get help but getting help would mean she would miss the function. Her sister and her husband had this to say: I know you are feeling down, but if you build the business, you will feel better!
I could NOT believe what I just heard. That was a major major fuckin red flag. I told my wife to ignore that and just to do her treatments. But this is a huge intentional asshole design by WWG, they tell you that you NEED to do certain things or you get basically get shit on. Like you HAVE to spend every free moment of you waking life pestering people in public about Amway. You HAVE to be at every board plan every week. You HAVE to go to every function in your local city. They literally said if you have a funeral on the same day as a board plan or function, then you go to the board plan/function, what’s the dead person in the coffin gonna offer you? Not financial freedom! My wife missed her own moms birthday to attend one of those stupid board plans.
So it’s time for the function and I road trip out there with a friend that had just launched his own business. And man, the amount of people there was insane. But even more insane, is so many people there but so very little succeed. I saw excited person after person and all I could think of is how they were most likely only going to ever break even.
The function was ass, I hated all of it, you basically watch con-man after con-man walk up on stage and talk about how much they love you and how wealthy they are for 40mins then leave. Again, everybody goes fuckin nuts. I had the biggest goddamn headache from sitting there and listening to the same two things all day: idiots talking on stage and idiots around me opening their XS cans only to have it explode EVERY TIME.
I come back from the function and my wife tells me she’s done and that she doesn’t wanna do this anymore. At the time, I was upset, because I pretty did everything myself. I’m the one who brought people on board, I’m the one who had to go to every board plan, I’m the one who got customers, I’m the one who did pretty much everything, and to hear her wanna quit after she basically did nothing upset me. But I hate myself for being upset, I shouldn’t have been. But I didn’t fight her on it and we closed shop. Only after closing shop did I feel this immense weight lift off my shoulders. But at the same time, I felt all the shame. I would have to tell my friends and family that we quit, and to me that was massively embarrassing, after everything I talked to them about, how great I thought all this was, only to turn around and say we quit. It just makes me so embarrassed. On top of all the debt I accrued from buying their stupid ass products, I am so regretful and I wish I had trusted my gut on this. The only reason I tossed away my instinct is because I saw my sister in law doing this and placed my trust in her, only to find out once all’s said and done, she was basically trying to capitalize off of me.
But here we are, 3:42pm on a Friday, work is out and I’m finishing writing this long winded rant. I get to actually spend time with my friends tonight instead of attending a dumbass board plan and I’m not worried about all my time spent NOT going out and bugging people in public to join or buy from Amway. I’m back to enjoying life again.
Thank you to my beautiful wife who saw me struggling mentally and being the one strong enough to pull the plug on this whole shitty experience. ❤️
Fuck WWG.

2023.06.09 23:51 PlatformTechnical220 Horse Power to deal with backne
Has anyone had success using ivermectin sold as “horse paste” to treat back based acne brought on by testosterone? I’ve been trying recently as a topical lotion and it seems to help calm down the pimples and hard bumps but I haven’t had long term use with it yet.
*Edit - I didn’t realize people thought this was something related to Covid 19 treatments. This is being used topically and not orally.

2023.06.09 23:47 jilrepents I found the Mt1 formal paperwork and risks of side effects. (Ie 1 in 10, 1 in 100, 1 in 1000.)
Keep in mind, most people take mt2 which crosses the blood brain barrier and has more side effects. And also keep in mind that drug companies skew these numbers (and often pay multi million dollar lawsuits for fraudulent studies) so I always assume these things are minimised to make the drug sound as good as possible, so people buy it.
This is for the mt1 implant, that releases mt1, to treat a medical condition for people that have a rare sensitivity to the sun. They get the implant replaced regularly. This is the best paperwork I could find. Also it lists the people who
shouldn’t take mt1.

Do not use SCENESSE (pt1)
- if you are allergic to afamelanotide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
- if you have any severe condition of the liver.
- if you have liver problems.
- if you have kidney problems. Warnings and precautions Talk to your doctor before receiving SCENESSE if you have or have ever had: - heart problems or severe breathing problems;
- gastrointestinal problems;
- diabetes; 20
- Cushing’s disease (a hormone disorder where the body produces too much of the hormone cortisol);
- Addison’s disease (a disorder of the adrenal glands causing a lack of some hormones);
- Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (a disorder that causes blockage of the bowel and where your hands, soles of your feet and surface of your lips may have brown freckles);
- epilepsy (or have been told that you are at risk of having fits);

- melanoma (an aggressive type of skin cancer), including in-situ melanoma, e.g. lentigo maligna; or if you have certain inherited conditions that increase the risk of developing a melanoma;
- skin cancer of the types, basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma (inclusive of carcinoma in situ, e.g. Bowen’s disease), Merkel cell carcinoma or other malignant or premalignant skin problems. Talk to your doctor before receiving SCENESSE if you are over 70 years of age. If you have ever had any of these conditions your doctor may have to monitor you more closely during your treatment.
Also keep in mind, the anecdotal reports of it effecting vision (eye floaters, blindness, freckles/pigment at back of eyes. Anecdotal reports or extreme anxiety, liver pain/problems and extreme freckling/dark spots on face/body etc. Some reports of Ahnedonia (loss of all feelings of pleasure, this is more than depression, you lose inability to feel any positive feeling). These are rare and may even be misattributed, but another similar peptide for tanning and ED is pt-141 and has multiple reports of Ahnedonia.
Essentially turning on and off receptions that have multiple functions is risky. We don’t know which of us are more at risk for different side effects.
Obviously people that have extreme problem with the sun (as in they are in some sort of extreme and strange pain from sunlight) the risk of these medicines are possibly outweighed.
I’m not a doctor, just went down the rabbit hole trying to work out risk vs benefit. I’m not telling anyone what to do, just sharing information.
And still keep in mind, this is the less potent mt1 rather than mt2. Mt2 crossing the blood brain barrier, where as mt1 doesn’t, so there’s no information about that in the risks/contraindications etc.
Again, just sharing info for those that want it. Not telling you what to do.
If anyone understands the flushing and why peoples bodies do that, I’d still like to learn if this is an immune response, or brain reaction to the peptide. (Just for curiosity about what it’s doing in the body).

2023.06.09 23:08 Impossible_Put_9419 [Before&After] How I made my skin better in less than a week (Dry and Sensitive Skin)
Hi! This is my first time posting in reddit altogether so bear with me bc I am not very familiar with the formats and everything.
- Context:
- Skin type: My skin is really dry and sensitive, however, my t-zone and chin area does struggle with blackheads.
- I have decided to make a routine and stick with it over the last week and I have noticed major changes. No more pimples forming or white heads and the dryness and peeling have really diminished.
- Before pics: [Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/LCFulKj.jpg)
- After pics:[Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/OARmrv8.jpg)
- Main Issues:
- I have sebaceous filaments on the sides of my nose that tend to get very irritated and turn into proper pimples
- Peeling and cracking skin on the sides of my nose, chin and mouth.
- Skin picking. I have always pocked and prodded everything that appeared on my skin, hence the redness and scabs.
- What I did/ Routine:
- Cleanser: I use the Biossance Squalane Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser. When I am using makeup I just use whatever makeup remover I have at hand and then cleanse.
- Exfoliant: I use the Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant every 2 days, I apply it using a cotton pad on my t-zone and chin and let it sink in for a few minutes, it does not dry out my face at all so I recommend it for people with dry skin. I also use the EFFACLAR DUO acne treatment on the corners on my problem areas but it does dry out my skin so I apply a lot of moisturizer where I have used it to protect my skin barrier.
- Moisturizer: I use the Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer. I put A LOT as my skin really absorbs it. I am still not so sure abt this moisturizer so if anyone has any recommendations of better ones I am all ears.
- Retinoid: I am using the EFFACLAR Adapalene Gel 1% acne treatment and it has not caused any purging or reactions even though I have sensitive skin. It does dry out my face so if I feel that my skin is drying out at night I reapply moisturizer over it.
- Hydrocolloid patches for pimples and to avoid skin picking. This is my holygrail, it just prevents me from picking my skin and worsening it, and as it is very satisfying to remove in the morning it kind off gives me a similar feeling of picking my skin.
- I don´t use exfoliants and retinoid in the morning, I just cleanse and then moisturize.
- DISCLAIMER: I know my skin is still by no means perfect but I think that it is much better than the before pics and in a very short amount of time.
- If anyone has any recommendations they are very welcome as I am aware that I am missing toners, serums, etc.
- I have recently gotten the Aveeno 1% Hydrocortisone to relieve irritation and redness in the corners of my nose, however, I will start using it today.
I know it is a long read but I have tried to make it easy to skim through with the bullet points.

2023.06.09 21:36 johnjones122 [Acne] Additions to Cerave Acne Foaming Cleanser?
20M with acne. For a month I’ve been using Cerave Acne Foaming Cleanser twice a day and I also have a sunscreen. Since I haven’t noticed great results, what can I add to make this a more complete routine? I’ve heard about snail gels, spot treatments, first cleansers, etc. What seems necessary here? Thank you and sorry if this post isn’t allowed, I am new here.

2023.06.09 20:55 throwawaybcusimshy If you think you have it, please see a doctor
I fell down the reddit hole of this subreddit, scrolling for hours looking at peoples PD, comparing it to my own, pondering if i even had it, looking for a cure, etc. After a month i finally decided to go see my GP and she diagnosed me with PD on the spot. Note my PD is very mild and mostly resembles acne, so i was very afraid she was going to turn me away which is why i did not seek help for so long. I was prescribed metro cream and my PD is finally healing.
I am a person who is prone to worrying a lot and this really impacted my mental health. If you think you might have PD, please go see a doctor and save yourself the stress. You do not need to suffer alone and there is treatment out there for you
I am very happy to say that I finally can get this off my mind. You will get through this too!

2023.06.09 20:26 Super_Card_4933 [Product Request] Need help choosing a moisturizer
Hey everyone, long-time lurker on skincare subreddits (22M). I could really use some help in choosing my next moisturizer!
Long story short, I used to have very oily and acne-prone skin. I've been on Accutane for four months now (with three more to go), and it has completely cleared my face (and changed my life tbh)! All I have left are a few minor scars and some redness. During my four months on Accutane, my skincare routine consisted of daily moisturizing and using a repair cream.
Now, let's get back to the topic of this post. I'm running out of my LRP Tolériane moisturizer and want to establish a real yet simple daily skincare routine. I've already figured out which cleanser and sunscreen I'll buy, but I'm unsure about which moisturizer to choose. After conducting extensive research, I've narrowed down my options to a few standout moisturizers:
- Skinfix : barrier+ restoring gel cream
- Tula : hydrating day and night cream
- First Aid Beauty : ultra repair oil control moisturizer
- Drunk Elephant : protini polypeptide cream
- Murad : clarifying oil-free water gel
- Etude Soon Jung :2 2x barrier intensive cream
- Aveeno : calm + restore oat gel moisturizer
- Anything else if you think it could be a better fit
Now, I could really use some help in choosing between these products (or even another one if you think it would be better for my case). First, I have to say that even if I'm on Accutane, my skin isn't very dry, it's really normal/sensitive (because of the treatment) right now I would say.
I'm looking for something very gentle and simple, preferably a gel/lightweight cream since I prefer that texture over a more thick cream. I want to keep the ingredients simple, but with my skincare routine being so simple, I'm not against a more fancy ingredient list if it's a good fit.
One final thing: I know it's a lot to ask, but I'll be extremely busy towards the end of the year (basically when my Accutane treatment will be over), so I'd really like to buy a moisturizer that I can continue using even after the end of my treatment when my skin "get his oil back".
Thanks in advance! I've seen how awesome you all are, and I hope you can help me choose the perfect moisturizer for me!
