2023.03.29 15:52 Davego Odd VIVE Streaming Hub Issue (config)
In the VIVE Streaming Hub I cannot bring up the settings window. I click on the gear icon, I get a small menu with "Settings" and "Setup Guide" and when I click "Settings" nothing happens. The "Setup Guide" works fine. I can stream fine. But I cannot get to the settings to adjust things.
Running Windows 11. I have reinstalled. I have rebooted. I can't get the beta version because that requires going to the settings to get it.
I can't find any file that seems to have the settings in it and loath messing around in the registry.
Has anyone else had this issue and/or found a fix?

hey guys, i just bought my hd60s+ today, i connected my ps5 to my pc, i recorded it for 10 minutes, and there is some input lag, i don't think it's my pc's fault because its really good, i have an i9 9th gen and RTX 2070, but there is still some input lag that is really annoying, i've tried obs studio and stream labs, but both of these options are giving me the input lag, is there any solution?

A few months ago the inconvenience is occurring that every time I enter the game I have to be changing the keyboard configuration.
That is, it does not save the key combinations with the style that I put on it, in my stream several users told me the same thing, which suggests that it is something that happens to more people.
On occasions they tell me that even after finishing a game the default configuration is set.
It may be something silly for many, but there are a few of us that this bothers us a little because in a certain way it hinders our way of playing.
I have always been supportive of everything in the game and I trust the Omeda team, I just hope that this inconvenience does not last much longer than it already has.

Hey, I'm building my first PC myself. I understand a decent amount about PC's although definitely could learn some more. My budget absolute max is 700 usd although If I could save and still hit my targets that would be awesome. Here is a list on pc part picker of everything I've put together so far { Link} the psu isn't included in the list its listed on amazon { here}
The uses for this pc would be mainly School and gaming with some light streaming. On occasion I would like to get involved with some blender modeling and video / photo editing.

I am a student studying for my masters in marine biology and an avid beach cleaner for the last 5 years down on the south coast of England. I have a passion for the ocean and underwater life and was disappointed and saddened by the lack of books which give a full reaching, broad, detailed guide to what lives beneath our waters. Sure there are books about sharks, whales and other specific species or general books which cover a range but only touch on a few of each. Other than the amazing World Of Fishes (Joseph S. Nelson, et al) the only decent resource I could find was Fishbase, ITIS and Animal Diversity Web, sites structured in ways the average person wouldn't appreciate.
I began compiling a picture of every family for each phylum that lives underwater and accumulating all the information equally for each to produce a book. I removed the background for each, found the main facts for each and have 2,300+ pages of information and have been structuring it so its simple, punchy, attention grabbing yet full of the same main information for everything, for every species of nudibranch, fish, frog, lobster, starfish, you name it. The second half of the book will be all about where they live, be it rivers, streams, lakes or ocean depths and world location.
I want to produce this book to teach and educate everyone, provide a full guide to all life so whether enthusiastic children looking to discover the full plethora of life, a hobbyist aquarium keeper or SeaLife centre owner, a snorkeller going on holiday or hardcore scuba diver, an animal lover passionate about life or professional, the information for everything is in one decent book. Also, for the next generations, as the world changes and climate changes, we care more about the life under the sea, with Seaspiracy and the backlash against industrial fishing, people worry about the bycatch and the hurt life but its mostly sharks and dolphins, with this book people can see all the life hurt by our actions too. Even ostracods have feelings too!

Anybody in the process of upgrading soon? I’m likely going AMD and wanted to get some thoughts on which CPU you guys are considering and why, specifically x3d chips (7800x3d and 7900x3d). I know for heavier games like PoE (my primary game, of course), Diablo 4, sims, and civ-type games the 3d cache would be heavily utilized so if you have opinions or recommendations I’d like to hear it. Productivity is typically a non-factor but I want the available power to stream to friends on a 2nd monitor if I choose to do so after an upgrade.
