There's so much to do in Colorado, and so little time. And now that we're one of the top travel destinations in the entire world, we should probably capitalize on it. So let's share everything amazing and local happening in this state.

2023.06.10 19:09 persnicketous Stroller options for a 1 bed apartment with very limited storage!

SO MANY STROLLER OPTIONS! But we have pretty specific needs!
We're going to be in our 1 bedroom apartment until baby is probably 2 years old. While we're lucky that the bedroom is plenty big for a nursery nook, our storage options are a lot more limited. I need a stroller that will fold down small, but is also going to stand up to all the walks we take to the grocery store as well as at the nearby park and breakwater where the sidewalks are often rough and cracked.
The best option I've seen online seems to be the Uppababy Minu V2, but they're certainly not cheap and there are none available secondhand in my area. When I look at reviews for compact strollers, they seem to be all about being meant for travel and fitting on planes - I don't need to carry this slung over my shoulder, I just need it to fit in the cupboard!
Any suggestions?

2023.06.10 19:09 Jus17173 Date with an alien

"So, tell me about yourself." The female alien from the planet Azegon T-45 said to Terry. She was tall about 6'6 with silver teeth, purple eyes and caramel skin like butter. Her hair was actually part of her skin that had split off into several ends on top of her head and were all a crimson hue. She regarded him above her plate of 'Hungiu' A dish Terry knew nothing about but looked to resembled a foot dipped in frosting to his human eyes.
Terry peered over a plate of spaghetti and meatballs. What she'd said weighed heavily on his soul, what could he possibly tell her that would make her see him as a man of value? He'd recently lost his job after his boss walked in on him masturbating in his cubicle. He had no friends except the mailman who brings his mail and talks about shagging his neighbour's wife. He often wondered whether he should regard the mailman as a friend for confiding in him about his neighbour's promiscuous wife. His rent was due last month so for the past few weeks he'd been avoiding his landlord by jumping in through the back window of his apartment that he always left open, never using the front door. He also might be having hemorrhoids which he needed to check soon. All in all, his life was a disaster and he'd only agreed to this date after his mailman had assured him that Azegon T-45 women had the ability to relieve stress during sex.
"During sex they secrete a hormone that's like cocaine that eradicates your worries and lowers your stress levels for hours on end. They'll only bang you if you show them you're a man of value though" His mailman had said before hooking him up with the number of an Azegon T-45 woman. With the galactic federation linking planets with thousands of sentient life hence broadening an individual's possibilities, Terry still wondered why he felt stuck and in need of shagging an alien in order to have some semblance of what happiness is. But how would he come across as a man of value? He was by far the most apathetic man in the universe, he didn't care about anything and that's probably why he'd started masturbating at work, at first he'd done it for the thrill that later evolved into a habit of which he was curious to see whether he'd get caught. He did get caught, just as he was climaxing. It was a sticky affair.
The alien surveyed him, waiting for a response. He cleared his throat. "Sorry, you wanted to know something about me? Well, yesterday I woke up to the sound of birds chirping at my window. It sounded like music to anyone else's ears but to me it was a disturbing sound. I went to the window and sure enough, several birds were lined on a branch in a tree outside my apartment. Singing their God awful songs, I suddenly got angry and grabbed a shoe and hurled it at them. The birds dispersed then I realized I needed my shoe back. I climbed out of the window in my boxers and vest to retrieve the shoe only to bump into a man coming out of my neighbour's house, the man was my mailman, he'd just come from fucking my neighbour's wife, he approached me and told me about it." Terry took a sip of the cognac in hand. "So there I was, outside my apartment in my boxers with a shoe in hand, talking to a man who was zipping up his pants while telling me of the reason his zipper had been down in the first place. It was at that moment that I realized my life is shit. It came as an epiphany, everything pulled up together and the realization of great truth hit me. My life is shit and you know what the worst thing was?"
She leaned forward. "What?"
"The birds, they were still singing their God awful song."
"Are you those people who hook up with Planet Azegon T-45 aliens for the stress we relieve during sex?" She asked. Her purple eye rapidly scanning him up and down.
Terry leaned back in his chair. "I jerk off at work, got fired the other day for doing it. Thing is, I wanted to be fired. So there I was beating my meat and the manager walks in just as I'm climaxing, I do it standing up so I can look at people's faces across the cubicles, I mastered how to beat my meat without my entire body moving with the jerking motion. I normally catch someone's eye from across the cubicles as I climax but the manager stepped right in and I turned and busted a nut all over him. You know what I did immediately after?"
"I laughed. It was the funniest thing in the world and it got me fired, irony."
"You're creepy."
"Tell me about yourself." Terry said, leaning back in his chair.
"I'm the fourth born of the litter." She stared. "We're born in litters on planet Azegon T-45 and—"
"What does the 45 stand for?"
"The 45 in Azegon T-45, what does it stand for? I hate the number 45, takes me about 45 minutes to fall asleep, when I was caught jerking off the manager gave me a tongue lashing for 45 minutes and my mailman wears an undershirt with the number 45 printed on it. I hate that number."
"It's the number of our position on the conveyer galactic belt." She answered.
"Oh, that's nice."
"You're a weird man."
"And you were born in a litter, can't you see the connection between us? Me with my weird implications about existence. You and those purple eyes that were born in a litter." Terry said and smiled.
"You like my purple eyes?" She asked.
"No, I don't care about eyes."
"You know what I do like? The fact you can take away stress during sex. You can make a fortune as a prostitute." Terry said with a laugh.
"Excuse me?" She retorted, a hint of anger to her voice.
"There's so many men who are stressed out, yet you only give in to men of value. Why don't you just place value on the act itself and become rich? Then you'll seek men of no value whom you'll find plenty of."
"You jerk! I'm not a whore!" She flung her dish at him, the foot like meat with frosting hit him on the face and slid down his nose. She then stood up, "You're a sick man of no value." She walked away from the table.
"There's plenty of us around." Terry said to her retreating back. He checked his watch, the date had taken exactly forty five minutes. "Damn it." He cursed.

2023.06.10 19:08 TheBuddyBayhawk Passed the (C) ASCP today

I freaking did it, y'all. I passed the Chemistry categorical and did it in under 50 minutes, too. By question 85 the test was throwing me super easy questions, like others had mentioned it would do, after passing the 400 point mark.
I'll answer any and all questions below. I know that there is not much info anywhere on the exam or the strategies people are using to prepare.
To start. I used Lab CE exam simulator almost every day for the chemistry questions only. I was averaging 80-85% on each take by the end.
I also used the BOC book (chemistry sections only) and went through it once about a month before the exam. I averaged a 70% on it the first time through. I recorded every question I got wrong and then compiled them into a "remedial exam" of ONLY those previously missed questions, and after some more studying I made a 55%.
I also used the Harr review book. Its the hardest of the 3 sources and I probably averaged a 50-60% through it by the end.
One thing I didnt study was Lab ops. I gained so much of that knowledge just by having worked in a lab for the past 2 years. I think I did a quick review over standard deviation and test principles a few days prior to the exam. But overall, I only dedicated about 1 or 2 hours TOTAL on lab ops.
I studied for 4 months, but its honestly too long to prepare. I think 3 months of 2 hours a day is perfect. I barely studied AT ALL the whole week prior to the exam. I just relaxed, reviewed some notes, did flashcards for the reference ranges I needed to know, and that was it.
I should know my actual score in the coming days (I think), and I'll make an edit to this post with my score and breakdown of points.

2023.06.10 19:08 SaoriShun [PARTIALLY LOST] articles from 2010 and earlier

I'm an aspiring fashion designer who loved FIT's book and exhibition Japan Fashion Now, and I'm looking for every article on the exhibition ever written as research for my future career. While looking through the press section of the online version of the exhibition, I decided to look for every article or video listed and could access them all online (although some articles were taken down and I had to use the Wayback machine), except for one article: 'Japan Fashion Now at FIT: A Review and A Confession' by Long Nguyen for, published in November 2010. I first clicked on the link to that Fashionista article on the exhibition's official website only to discover that the link was broken. I then decided to enter the article's URL into the Wayback machine, but unfortunately no Fashionista webpages have been archived using that service. Getting increasingly fustrated, I tried every other internet archiving service I could find, but still cannot access that Fashionista article. Worst of all, I couldn't even contact the article's author because he had already died. In fact, Fashionista has deleted all their articles from 2010 and earlier except for two: 'Great outfits in fashion history: Hayley Williams's bow-adorned mini dress' by India Roby and 'Israel bans underweight models, but don't expect America to follow suit' by Dhani May. I have no idea why Fashionista would do this; plenty of people would have wanted to read these early articles.

2023.06.10 19:06 Awkward-Address-7135 Is the 2.0t actually good on gas?

Hello everyone, I currently drive a Q50 and though it’s a beautiful and fun car to drive, I’m looking for something more economical. Im looking into getting a 10th gen Accord but not sure if I want the 2.0t or 1.5t. I would still love to have a good kick when I step on it every now and then so I’m leaning more towards the 2.0 but I’ve read mixed reviews for the mileage it gets. I don’t have a heavy foot (at least not anymore lol) and drive half highway and half city basically while living in Los Angeles County so traffic ain’t always the best. What do y’all often get for your average mpg for both 1.5t and 2.0t? I’m sure this question gets asked a lot but I figured I’d ask again to get new opinions. Thanks in advance!

2023.06.10 19:05 Time_Good_3680 Lyft driver changed my destination without telling me and said we're going to his home

I honestly don't know what to do at this point after what happened during my lyft ride yesterday.
I called a lyft for just myself (female, 28) to go to my sister's apartment in Chicago that was supposed to be a 21 minute drive. As soon as I was matched, I checked to see that this driver had a 5 star rating. I get in his car once he arrives and I asked if his name was M***, but didn't hear him respond as I noticed he had a hearing aid on, so I thought he must be hard of hearing.
The first red flag was when I noticed he got off the expressway 3 exits earlier than where were supposed to exit. It was Friday nearing the end of rush hour traffic so I rolled my eyes thinking he just wanted to bypass the traffic, but I definitely started feeling uneasy. This is an odd thought but I also remember thinking that since he might be deaf he was just zoning out and not paying attention to the directions. I go check what the Lyft app is saying as I'm expecting it to re-navigate now that he exited way early, but I come to find that my app is not loading and I cannot see where we are on the map, and so now I'm relying on the driver's phone on the dashboard that displays the GPS route. After 5 minutes of watching him not follow ANY of the turns/directions, I also notice that the app is now displaying that 15 minutes has been added to the ETA, but the map is still not loading. Now I'm annoyed and anxious because he is not saying at all where we are going and I'm noticing we're in a neighborhood opposite of the direction we are supposed to be heading! I finally speak up after I see him miss another turn and I say "I think you were supposed to turn left" to which he immediately responds in an aggressive, clear, and abrupt tone "I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING". This immediately fires another round of red flags and the following argument ensues:
Me: I don't understand, you're not following the GPS.
M***: I know where I'm going, I'm taking shortcuts.
Me: Have you been to this address before? Is that why you know where you're going? **(at this point we are now taking side streets and he is not at all driving in the general direction of where the final destination should be)
*And this is where things start to get really scary*
M***: I'm driving home.
Me:... We're going to your home?
M***: We're going to a new destination.
M***: Yes. I'm going home, the new destination.
At this point we are at an intersection where he has to pull up to a stop sign and we are full on arguing. The car behind us honks at us because he's not driving as I'm telling him I don't feel safe as a passenger because he isn't following the directions and I don't know where we're going to which he responds "I'm an officer". At that point I gather my things and say I don't feel safe I'm leaving, you can cancel the ride, but he tells me "no YOU CANCEL THE RIDE".
I run down the street to a Wing Stop where there are people around and call 911 through the safety assistance button (again, my phone is not loading the map, it still thinks I'm in the ride). The dispatcher connects me to an officer to file a report but I'm on hold for 2 minutes so I hang up. I call my sister and explain what happened and she starts ordering me an uber ride (I didn't have uber on my phone BUT I DO NOW), and as I'm waiting THE DRIVER CIRCLES BACK AND PASSES ME, rolls down his window, smiling, and yells out my name. I turn away and run in the other direction where there's more people and start full on crying. Thankfully the uber ride (thank you Evelyn for being so kind and listening to what happened) arrived and I was finally able to cancel my ride (after restarting my phone) and talking to the lyft safety support team.
I screenshotted his license plate and name before I cancelled the ride. Should I file a police report? I told the lyft support team that this driver absolutely needs to be fired as I never felt more in danger of my life. Has this happened to anyone else? When he told me we were going to his home as his new destination I was fully prepared to find the child locks were engaged on the doors but thankfully they were not. I feel like this was so close to a kidnapping and lyft needs to take this seriously. I'm worried that he saved my apartment address since the app took awhile to cancel the ride and he now knows where I live.

2023.06.10 19:05 InspectorTricky9653 1

Jenna sighed as she lay on her bed, feeling restless and unsatisfied. She had just come back from another failed date with yet another man who couldn't satisfy her needs in the bedroom. As much as she tried to be patient and understanding, it was getting harder and harder for her to hide her frustration.
She needed something more than what these men were offering her. Something intense, something that would push her to her limits and leave her begging for more. But where could she find such an experience? And who could provide it for her?
As she lay there, lost in thought, her eyes landed on a photo of her best friend Reese. They had been friends since childhood, but over the years their relationship had evolved into something deeper and more intimate. Although they had never crossed the line into a sexual relationship, Jenna often found herself fantasizing about what it would be like to be with Reese.
Reese was everything Jenna wasn't - pale-skinned, red-haired, and adventurous. She was always up for trying new things and pushing boundaries, which is why Jenna knew that if anyone could give her the experience she craved, it would be Reese.
But how could she ask her best friend for something so intimate and potentially destructive to their friendship? What if Reese rejected her or worse, laughed at her? The thought of being vulnerable and exposed like that was terrifying, but Jenna knew she had to take the risk.
Steeling her nerves, Jenna picked up her phone and texted Reese. "Hey, can we talk?"
Reese responded almost immediately. "Sure! Everything okay?"
"Yeah, I just need to talk to you about something important."
A few minutes later, Reese arrived at Jenna's apartment, looking concerned. "What's going on? Is everything alright?"
Jenna took a deep breath before speaking. "I...I have something to tell you. Or rather, something to ask you."
Reese nodded encouragingly. "You can tell me anything, you know that."
Jenna swallowed hard. "I want you to torture me."
There was a moment of stunned silence before Reese burst out laughing. "Wait, what? You're joking, right?"
Jenna shook her head. "No, I'm serious. I need this, Reese. I need someone who can push me beyond my limits and give me the intensity I've been missing."
Reese looked skeptical. "And you think I can do that?"
"Yes," said Jenna firmly. "I trust you, and I know you won't hurt me. Please, just hear me out."
Reese hesitated for a moment before finally agreeing. "Okay, go on."
Jenna explained her desires in detail, describing the kinds of sensations she wanted to experience and the ways in which she hoped Reese could help her achieve them. As she spoke, she felt a sense of relief washing over her, knowing that she was finally able to express her true self to someone.
Reese listened carefully, taking in every word. When Jenna finished talking, she paused for a moment before responding. "Wow, I didn't realize you were feeling this way. I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to share this with me."
Jenna let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you. It means a lot to me that you're willing to listen."
Reese smiled. "Of course. So, what exactly are you looking for here? Do you have any specific requests or preferences?"
Jenna thought for a moment before answering. "Well, I'd really like to explore some foot worship and domination. I've always been fascinated by feet, and I'd love to feel your hands on mine, worshipping them like they're gods."
Reese chuckled. "Gods, huh? Well, I can definitely make that happen. Anything else?"
Jenna bit her lip nervously. "I'd also like to try some bondage and spanking. I've always been curious about those things, but I've never had the courage to try them until now."
Reese nodded thoughtfully. "Makes sense. Those can be great tools for building anticipation and control. Anything else?"
Jenna shook her head. "Not really. Just whatever you think will work best to get me to that next level of pleasure."
Reese grinned mischievously. "Alright then, consider it done. I'll bring everything we need tomorrow night. Get ready for the experience of a lifetime."
The next day passed slowly for Jenna, who spent most of it anxiously waiting for Reese to arrive. Finally, when the clock struck 8 pm, there was a knock on her door. Her heart racing, Jenna opened it to see Reese standing there, holding a large bag in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other.
"Hi," said Reese, giving her a coy smile. "Ready for our little session?"
Jenna swallowed hard. "As ready as I'll ever be."
Reese stepped inside and set down the bag, pulling out several items including rope, nipple clamps, and a paddle. Jenna couldn't help but gulp at the sight of them, her excitement mixed with a touch of trepidation.
"First things first," said Reese, pouring two glasses of wine. "Let's start with a toast."
They clinked glasses and took a sip, letting the sweet liquid calm their nerves. Then, without further ado, Reese began the process of binding Jenna's wrists and ankles with intricate knots, leaving her lying face down on the bed.
Once Jenna was securely tied, Reese moved behind her and started massaging her shoulders and back, working out the tension from a long day at work. Jenna closed her eyes and reveled in the sensation of Reese's strong fingers digging into her muscles, relaxing her body and mind.
After a few minutes, Reese moved down to Jenna's legs, tracing circles around her calves and thighs before moving up to her inner thighs. Jenna squirmed involuntarily as Reese teased her sensitive skin, lightly brushing her fingers against her folds.
Then, without warning, Reese grabbed the paddle and smacked it hard against Jenna's bottom, making her yelp in surprise. Before she could fully process what was happening, Reese continued raining blows down on her ass, each strike eliciting a sharp gasp followed by a low moan.
Despite the initial shock, Jenna found herself enjoying the sensation of pain mixed with pleasure, her body reacting instinctively to the stimulation. She arched her back, begging for more, and Reese happily obliged, increasing the pace and force of the spanks until Jenna's entire body was throbbing with desire.
When Reese finally stopped, Jenna was left panting and drenched with sweat, her skin flushed and tingling. Reese leaned down and kissed her neck, whispering hotly in her ear. "How does that feel, baby? Are you ready for more?"
Jenna could barely speak through her heavy breathing, but she managed a weak "Yes" before collapsing back onto the bed.
Reese chuckled softly. "Good girl. Now, let's move on to the main event."
She reached for the nipple clamps and expertly attached them to Jenna's tender buds, causing her to writhe in ecstasy. Next came the foot worship, with Reese kneeling at the end of the bed and reverently kissing and caressing Jenna's feet, praising them as if they were divine artifacts.
Jenna reveled in the attention, closing her eyes and savoring the sensation of Reese's lips and tongue dancing across her skin. She wriggled her toes, delighting in the way they seemed to come alive under Reese's ministrations.
Before long, however, Reese switched gears again, removing the nipple clamps and replacing them with clothespins, sending waves of agony and arousal coursing through Jenna's body. She bit her lip to stop from crying out, loving the way the pain heightened her sensitivity to every touch.
Reese continued to play with Jenna's breasts, alternating between gentle caresses and brutal pinches, driving her wild with lust. By the time she moved on to sucking and biting Jenna's neck, Jenna was a quivering mess of raw emotion, desperate for release.
Finally, Reese climbed on top of Jenna and positioned herself above her mouth, rubbing her wetness against Jenna's lips. "Lick me," she commanded, thrusting her hips forward.
Jenna eagerly complied, diving into Reese's folds with abandon, tasting her sweet nectar and reveling in the sounds of her pleasure. Reese bucked and thrashed beneath her, riding the wave of bliss, until finally she exploded in a frenzy of gasps and moans.
Jenna lay back, exhausted but satisfied, as Reese untied her bindings and pulled her into her arms. They lay together in contented silence for a while, basking in the afterglow of their shared passion.
Eventually, Reese broke the stillness. "So, did you enjoy your experience?"
Jenna smiled. "More than I could have imagined. Thank you for giving me this."
Reese pressed a kiss to her forehead. "My pleasure, sweetheart. Anytime you need it, just let me know."
Jenna snuggled closer, already dreaming of their next encounter.

2023.06.10 19:05 akathedevil666 Rope recommendation

I am in the market for half/twin ropes. I own a couple of opera Beal 8.5mm 60m ropes (pro: lightest triple rated, cons: heavier half/twin). I was looking at the edelrid starling protect pro dry 8.2mm (pro: Aramid sheath, cons: heavy, expensive) and petzl paso guide 7.7 (pro: light, cons: too thin? can't find a ton of reviews). The other option would be mammut alpine dry 8mm (pro: cheaper, perf diameter imo). Also should i stick to 60m or would you recommend going for 70m? Other suggestions (eg Beal iceline, BD Dry 7.9)? Another option would be to get a petzl pur line to work with one of my opera Beal for full length rappel.

2023.06.10 19:04 Resident-Street-4847 Is there some good games for Quest 2 to manipulate 3D objects, game which is kind of sandbox and not necesarily have levels or any campaign, or do you recommend other Cheap price games that are similar type?

LIke grab and throw cubes, spheres, balls, many objects with physics. Before i asked about Break and destroy games but people told me theirs not many of those. But how about just grabbing and throwing and manipulating type of games. Kind of like the First Contact app that the Rift came with you could grab objects and play with them and manipulate them .
The only one i saw recent is Hands Physics Lab, but it seems many of the games in the Quest store always get bunch of bad reviews and this one does too.
If nothing like that exist, do you recommend other cheap price games that are kind of like physics like
Ball games where your balls destroy wals and stuff, or something.
I already got PONG( applab) and it's great. So something similar to that.
I like sandboxes or exercises games because i'm not smart with games. so i can't solve puzzles or anything difficult. The pong one has levels but at least i can have fun even if i keep losing cause it has fun physics and the balls breaks the things. it's so fun.

2023.06.10 19:03 Affectionate-Mud-492 Trying to find a replacement for my two black monitor with one uw monitor.

I really want to change my setup and simplify it (temporarily) while in my new apartment. I want to change it for white be it looks cleaner.
My current monitor(s) believe are 27 inch 60 hertz aced monitor. I was wondering if it was possible to find a white gaming monitor at least 30 inches and possibly curved for under 300.
I don't play too many fast pace games (as of right now) so around like 120Hz I guess. I don't want to miss my dual monitor setup which is why I want a bigger monitor (After I graduate I want to use old monitors and new monitors for 3 monitor setup).
Right now I'm looking at Acer 29.5 Nitro XZ306C, MSI PRO MP341CQW (but there's like no reviews), and Sceptre IPS 34 (which is little bit too expensive.
I'm going to either vastly improve my pc or just build a new one (I have a prebuilt) eventually which is why I want it to not be too expensive. I decided to come to post on a bunch of subreddits before I make rash decisions since I don't know too much about monitors.
I’m leaning toward the Spectre IPS 34 just dk if it’ll be too big w/o curved.

2023.06.10 19:01 ZHODY ZHODY's Viet HeartGold Ground Reverse-Monolocke, Part 1: Not as solo as expected

Part 0: Rules and expectations
Getting Eggy I decided to try out the modern version of Trainer Charms purely so I could use the Pokemon Smile icons. They’re so adorable! Rided/Cyndaquil is one of my favorite Starters, but since they don’t have a second typing they don’t stand out much.
After getting Pokeballs from HIBI/Ethan it was time to start the run! Both New Bark and Cherrygrove have encounters I can unlock with Surf or either Rod, so with that in mind I earn my first three tokens from Rt. 29, 30, and 31. Luckily, both Rt. 46 and Dark Cave had Geodude, getting me Sicib and Bicis.
For some reason my Emulator doesn’t show the circle of light around my character, so I couldn’t find the free Drug/Potion in Bicis’ home. But hey, Bicis was a girl, so maybe she’ll help with Whitney like I hoped? Neither of them had a nature that lowered their Att or Def, so I was pleased. However, when I checked their IVs I noticed one had 8 in Att and the other had... 31!? I didn’t expect the second coming of Kokum to come so soon, whoa! Her Def IV is way lower than Sicib’s, though, so it’s kind of a trade-off.
I can get two Pokemon in GX (Violet) City, though not from the water. The first is from the Bellsprout for Onix trade that will cost me $25,200 (But the Nature is... really bad), and the second comes from giving Primo a specific code that is based on your Trainer ID. After consulting Pokewiki’s Secret Code Generator I... quickly realized that the text I need to input to get my wanted Slugma egg (the only one I can get before Kanto) was translated. Miraculously, the Viet HG save file worked with the normal Japanese HG ROM, so I just played both at once and used the equivalent of Alphabet Mode to help me figure out where ボーイ +うた and やだ + かんそうはだ were. ...Though one of the words starts with Hiragana and the ‘Syllabary Mode’ uses Katakana, so I had to pull out my old Hiragana+Katakana book to figure out the Katakana equivalent.
In the end, the translation was Boy + Sing & Do Not Want + Crispy. Funnily enough, before I had pulled out the book and untranslated ROM I tried to figure it out on my own by using the original Viet Crystal method of translating the Japanese text Pokewiki gave me into Chinese, then English via Google Translate and the fourth was translated to be Skin Care. I had guessed Crispy because I thought of crispy chicken skin earlier, so I’m glad I had guessed one of them correctly the first time!
I still had to check if I managed to get the Slugma egg, though... and Pkhex said it was a Slugma, YES! Well actually, when it hatched I realized the game wasn’t suddenly calling A SHI/Primo Mageh when he handed over the egg, it was calling it a Mageh/Slugma egg. So yeah, that’s her name. I had one more encounter available before Elder Li, though. The Sprout Tower he’s in just holds a fourth token, so I headed south to Rt. 32 to catch Mali/Mareep before beating up some monks.
VS Elder Li At first I was just going to solo him with an Ember-equipped Rided, but at the end of the tower both Geodude were at lv. 7 from some switch grinding, so the team was them and the lv. 10 Rided. They won’t go out against his Bellsprout, but Hoothoot’s Hypnosis could make solo-ing annoying.
Rided’s Ember easily OHKO’d the first Bellsprout, but Elder Li threw out Hoothoot next. Rided was quickly put to sleep and she didn’t wake up after getting a Peck to the face, so I swapped to Bicis. She sadly got hit by a Growl, but two Tackles barely brought the bird to yellow HP while she dodged Hypnosis. Annoyed by how little she was doing, I swapped to Sicib... only for him to be put to sleep, augh!
So I swapped back to Bicis, who got hit with a Peck and another Growl before she could Tackle again. Two more Tackles barely brought Hoothoot to red HP before Hypnosis finally landed on her. Instead of making her power through the sleep, I decided to swap back to Rided to get ready for the second bellsprout, and... She woke up immediately, nice! Two more Embers destroyed the Hoothoot and second Bellsprout.
Yup, I’m glad I didn’t go through my usual ‘grind to lv. 10’ session at the beginning, because having more bodies to put to sleep was pretty dang helpful! Nobody lost more than 10HP thanks to that, too.
VS HEYADUO/Falkner After beating his minions everyone but Rided was okay to be in the lowest level slot (8), so I went to the grass to get Sicib to the highest level slot (13) and learn Rock Throw. ...Wait, what!? Yeah, It was gonna be Bicis, but I got confused and realized too late, ugh. Well, let’s hope his Rock Throw isn’t too weak.
Pidgey starts off with blinding Sicib with Sand, but Rock Throw lands regardless and takes it out. Pidgeotto doesn’t have Sand Attack, so he just used a weak Gust before getting knocked to low yellow thanks to another Rock Throw. One more weak Gust later and Sicib landed the killing blow/rock.
Well, Rock Throw is still Super Effective and gets STAB. Sand Attack was kind of worrying, but I’m glad all three Rock Throws landed regardless.

  • Sicib the Geodude♂ (14) - Sassy, Sturdy [Tackle / Rock Throw / Defense Curl / Mud Sport]
  • Bicis the Geodude♀ (8) - Impish, Sturdy [Tackle / Defense Curl / Mud Sport / Rock Polish]
  • Mageh the Slugma♀ (8) - Hardy, Flame Body [Smog / Ember / Yawn / ---]
  • Mali the Mareep♂ (8) - Quirky, Static [Tackle / Growl / --- / ---]
  • Rided the Cyndaquil♀ (11) - Brave, Blaze [Tackle / Ember / SmokeScreen / Leer]

2023.06.10 19:01 lgndTAT /r/MonsterHunterStories will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.

What's going on?

A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.

What can you do as a user?

What can you do as a moderator?

Thank you for your patience in the matter,

2023.06.10 19:00 KnightroUCF r/Forensics is going dark on June 12th

This subreddit will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.

How does it affect forensics?

Reddit is a business and needs to be sustainable. No one disputes that. But instead of providing reasonable pricing, reasonable timelines, or reasonable communication with these third-party applications that have made Reddit accessible (and arguably more enjoyable) to the masses for years, Reddit has decided to price them out of existence entirely.
Furthermore, in the days since the announced policy change, it has come to light that Reddit has been less than transparent and ethical in their handling of this change. As a community reliant on evidence, it's hard for us to give Reddit the benefit of the doubt given the facts that have been presented.
At Forensics, we are a community of forensic science professionals who are passionate about what we do, and pride ourselves on providing access to actual forensic knowledge to the masses when questions arise. But key values of our community are transparency and ethics. Without transparency and ethics, no honest discourse can be trusted to happen.
As such, our moderation team has decided that on June 12th, forensics will be joining the over 3,500 other subreddits that will be going dark in protest of these changes. While some subreddits have announced their return dates, forensics will not be doing so. It may be 48 hours, it may be longer. While we are a small community, we believe that it is our responsibility to participate in protesting these changes.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, [many subreddits](\_and\_growing\_list\_of\_participating/) will be going dark to protest this policy. 2023.06.10 19:00 SkittishReflections I was Forced to Live a Nightmare

When you're rich enough, you get perks you can only dream of. Literally. But somehow, my paradise turned into hell.
Have you ever had a dream so amazing, you wished you could relive it? Explore it? Relish it? Well, when you're rich enough, you don't have to wish. It's a reality thanks to dream banks. You may have heard of them and their pricy services, which include recording, saving, and projecting dreams.
For example, if you'd like a dream recorded, you can book one of their luxurious suites for the night, where the dream techs will fit you with a special helmet and leave you to rest. The next morning, they'll replay the recorded dream for you via the helmet and ask if you want to shell out the extra bucks to save it. If you don't, they'll delete it and you can pay to book for another time to try again.
If you do decide to save it, you must select an item within the dream that will act as the exit key. (This will come in handy during projections.) While still wearing the helmet, you must touch the item, and the dream techs will label those electric signals as the key.
Afterwards, everything is saved under your name, and you can now relive your dream at any time by booking a suite for three, five, or eight hours. Unlike recordings, during projections, you don't have to wait for sleep to come. After you enjoy a snack of your choice, the helmet is fitted and you're immediately transported to your dream, where you have free will and can enjoy it at your leisure. And if you ever need to leave early, this is when you touch the key, which will shut down the helmet right away.
In my case, the key is the stegosaurus leather rug I have hanging on the wall of my throne room. I never have a reason to touch it otherwise, making it a perfect key. I've also never had to touch it. Experiencing life as an all-powerful, worshipped being who lives on my own planet and hunts dinosaurs in my spare time, I relished my dream to the last second.
Yes, the fees are exorbitant, but at the time, I felt it was worth it. The techs were skilled, the system was sleek, and the dreams were private. Each could only be unlocked by the unique brainwaves of the dreamer.
Or so I thought.
My literal nightmare began when I booked a five-hour projection on a rainy Friday afternoon. After taking a sip of champagne to wash down the cranberry brie bites, I settled into the cool silk sheets with a smile. My usual dream tech smiled back as she fastened my helmet, and the last thing I heard was her wishing me pleasant dreams before I was plunged into darkness.
I waited for the split-second adjustment from reality to the dream world, and my confusion grew when I didn't find myself on my throne surrounded by fawning gods and goddesses.
Instead, I found myself in the middle of an endless street. Alone. There were no cars, no life, not even wind. Towering street lamps lined the sidewalk as far as I could see, arcing over the road and tinting everything an eerie red. Behind them, identical buildings stood side by side, silent, their dark, narrow windows hollow.
My pulse spiking, I whipped around. The other direction was just as endless. Uneasy confusion prickled beneath my skin. This had to be someone else's dream. The techs must have made a mistake. I didn't know how it was possible, but there was no other explanation.
My unease piqued as my situation sank in. I was in a stranger's dream and I didn't know the key. I was stuck here until my five hours ran out. Or until the techs realized their mistake. I was ready to rip them a new one once I was out, but until then, I had no choice but to wait.
I studied my surroundings with a frown before I walked over to the curb and sat down, and that was when I noticed I couldn't feel anything. I also noticed I was naked. It didn't matter. There was no one here, and none of this was real anyway.
Time passed, and I tried to distract myself from my nettled offense by humming, but no sound came out. Sitting up, I took a deep breath and screamed. Not even a squeak was heard. I slapped my hand against the ground. Nothing. This place was like a black hole of the senses.
Sighing, I lay down on my back and stared at the red light above me, wondering if I could fall asleep in a dream. I tried, but the more I wished to escape this silent, crimson prison, the more it seemed to come into focus. Soon, the utter lack of noise and movement grew from slightly unnerving to completely intolerable.
There was no way I could wait. I'd go insane. I had to get out of here. I had to find the key.
Jumping up, I ran to the nearest building and wrenched open the door, and a pitch black void greeted me. I gasped, and gasped again as it felt like my very breath was being suctioned out of my lungs. Panicking, silent wheezes rattled in my chest as I struggled to yank myself out of the vacuum, jerking my limbs and bucking my body until I toppled over backwards on the sidewalk.
Gulping in fitful breaths, I scrambled to my feet and ran down the road without looking back, my wide eyes scanning the horizon for salvation. I just wanted out of here, but the hellish path stretched on forever, making me feel like I was running in place as every identical building and street lamp mocked me. Even my silent stomping and mute panting served to draw insanity closer.
And then, a person showed up.
There, in the distance.
With my hope spurred, I raced towards them, desperate. I didn't care who they were. I needed to break this monotony.
As I got closer, hope morphed to confusion, and then to despair. The person was me. It was a mirror, propped up across the entire street.
Sweat-soaked, I slowed down to a jog before I stopped right in front of my reflection. It was me alright, naked, exhausted, and frustrated. But the eyes, something was off about the eyes. With an anxious frown, I stepped closer, staring into them, and they stared back …
… until they glanced behind me.
I gasped and jumped away, and so did my reflection … before it glanced over my shoulder again.
A chill trickled down my spine. My reflection had nothing behind it but the empty street, so I gulped and turned around, and my mouth fell open in a silent scream as a lovecraftian behemoth barrelled its way towards me. With its slick shell gleaming red beneath the lights, it slammed down one spiny tentacle after the other as its five mouths bared their dripping, concentric fangs.
Drenched in undiluted horror, tremors gripped my body as I stumbled away until my back was against the mirror. I knew death was a foolproof key in a dream, but I didn't know if this creature would kill me right away or leave me to suffer in agony until my five hours were up.
With it only inches away, I squeezed my eyes shut and pressed myself into the mirror, and my stomach flipped as I fell backwards. I opened my mouth to gasp, but there was nothing for me to draw in. Floating in an airless void, I flailed and thrashed, my wild eyes scanning the darkness for answers as I began to spin around.
Although death would free me, one of my greatest fears was suffocating. On one of my weightless rotations, a red, glass cube passed me by, and I grabbed it, hoping it was a breathing device. I brought it close to my face, and I gawked at what it held within.
Surrounded by identical buildings and red street lamps while a lovecraftian behemoth tore me apart.
Horrified, I threw the cube as far as I could and increased my efforts to escape this void. Yet all the flailing and thrashing was for naught as the darkness revealed no end. My eyesight began to go red as my lungs spasmed, and I clawed at my throat as my pulse stuttered in my chest.
The red kept growing and growing until it engulfed my entire vision, and I gave up. There was nothing to do but face my fears and die. With my straining heart lumbering, I let myself go limp as I stared at the red and waited.
And waited.
And waited.
I wasn't dying.
In fact, I could breathe just fine.
Frowning, I opened my eyes, and intense unease spread through my core. Above me, a red moon had taken up the entire sky, each one of its craters crystal clear, like eyes watching me. I turned my head away, and I realized I was in a park, laying down on the grass. Sitting up, I blinked in surprise at the pond right beside me, its opaque water reflecting the moon's red light. Ducks were swimming in a circle across its surface, their movements smooth with nary a splash.
Trees surrounded us, so dense I couldn't tell when one began and the other ended. It was mind-numbingly quiet here as well, and I still couldn't feel anything or make any noise, but at least the ducks were moving. This place seemed more tolerable than the last, and I was willing to wait out my five hours here. I hoped at least an hour had passed already, but with dreams, one never knew. All I knew was that I was too exhausted to search for the key. And too scared. I didn't know whose dream this was, but they had to be masochistic if they saved this nightmare.
Curling up beside the pond, I worked on calming myself down as I watched the ducks swim in their systematic circle over and over and over. I tried counting the rotations the way one would count sheep, but that still didn't lull me to sleep. I wished I'd chosen the three-hour projection, but at least I hadn't chosen the eight-hour one.
Distorted circus music crackled around me and I jolted up, my heart ricocheting in my chest. There was finally sound, but the last thing I wanted to hear was a cliche horror movie soundtrack. Gulping, I looked around. The music was coming from the trees, and my stomach dropped when I spied a shadow behind one of them. Then another. And another. They emerged into the crimson moonlight, and my blood turned to ice.
I whipped around, trembling to the rhythm of my frantic pulse. They were surrounding me. Dozens of them. As classic as any clown could be. Colorful clothes, big shoes, silly hair, exaggerated makeup. I wasn't scared of clowns, as long as they were where they belonged. And they didn't belong here, staring at me with big, empty eyes and yellow, toothy grins.
I tried to convince myself that they weren't dangerous since they didn't have weapons and didn't seem monstrous, but when they took a step closer in unison, I jumped back, nearly falling into the pond. The ducks remained oblivious, still swimming in their circle. The distorted circus music got louder, and my hair stood on end when I saw the grass ripple in front of each clown. They were sending something my way through the ground.
Panicking, I jumped into the pond, and I screamed as I sank right in. There was no bottom. There was no water either. The pond was filled with red, translucent spheres, each the size of a tennis ball. Still able to breathe, I began swimming through the spheres with clumsy breast strokes, just hoping I could end up as far away from the clowns as possible.
After swimming for what felt like enough time, I tried to swim up, until I realized I had no idea which direction I was facing. Remember a trick for those stuck in avalanches, I spat, but my glob of saliva just hovered in front of me. Before panic could set in, I noticed what looked like an office desk floating amidst the spheres in the distance. After blinking a few times to make sure it was really there, I swam towards it, desperate for any change in my situation.
It was an office desk, a wooden one with carved borders and locked drawers. Tucked beneath it was a stool, and the moment I pulled it out and set it under my ass, an office replaced the red spheres.
I grunted as gravity returned, and I looked around in bewilderment at the cluttered bookshelves and grimy floors. Dust was floating everywhere, highlighted by the red light filtering in through the blinds behind me. I jumped as a clock hanging on the wall chimed. Its glass was too dirty for me to tell the time, but I was glad I could hear. I coughed at the dust. And I could make noise. I dusted my hands. And I could feel. I could even smell, which I now wished I couldn't as I wrinkled my nose at the faint stench of rot.
After failing to read the spines of some of the books on the shelves, I studied the shadowy corners of the room. A slack-jawed skeleton hung in the far end, and a faded poster with anatomical diagrams curled off a cupboard. This had to be a doctor's office. Was the creator of this dream a doctor?
A silhouette slid in front of the frosted glass door, and I gulped as the knob began to turn. A hand reached in, gripping the edge one finger at a time, and my heart dropped as I knew this horror cliche was only going to be followed by another. Having no time to think, I slid off the stool and crouched beneath the desk, my hand over my mouth as cobwebs clung to me.
Praying spiders wouldn't swarm me, I peeked through a small slit in the wood, and I froze when an emaciated nurse walked in the room. Layers upon layers of blood coated her scrubs, so much so that I couldn't even tell what color they originally were. She had no shoes. No feet either. Just ankle stubs, and my stomach turned as I heard bone clunk against the tiles.
A surgical mask covered her face, as bloodstained as her scrubs, and grimy lab goggles obscured her eyes. I was grateful, because judging by the pus leaking out of her scabbed, balding scalp, I didn't want to know what her face looked like. The closer she got, the stronger the stench of rot became, and I struggled to keep myself from retching.
She stopped halfway into the room, and I gawked at her hands. They were transforming. Her fingers elongating into razor-edged blades. She then began to hunch over, and I cringed as her spine cracked and popped until she was as bent as a candy cane, her face staring at her pelvis.
As if that wasn't unsettling enough, her head creaked as it spun around 180 degrees, now facing the front, upside down. Right after, her arms shot to the ground, and I watched with increasing dread as she bent them at the elbows and wrists so they flanked her head like distorted T-Rex arms.
She spread her fingers out and took a few more steps towards me, and I held my breath, hoping she couldn't hear my rabid heart or smell my fear. Her ankle bones clicked and clacked against the tiles as she made her way around the desk, and I cowered as my frantic eyes searched for a weapon. I found none, but I did spy a brass button beside my head.
With her legs now an arms distance away, I had nothing to lose as I jammed my thumb into the button. The back of the desk flung open, and I scrambled to my feet and dashed out from my hiding place, screaming in response to the nurse screeching behind me. Bursting through the door, I held up my fists and began punching like a maniac in fearful anticipation of a horde of nurses swarming me.
Except I was no longer in a hospital. I was in an outdoor parking lot. Alone. And judging by the roiling red clouds, a storm was brewing. After a second to collect my bearings, I dove into the closest car, thankful it was unlocked. The moment I slammed the door shut, lightning blinded me as thunder cracked and the downpour began. Sighing in relief, I tried to shake away my adrenaline, but the bloodshot eyes in my rearview mirror reignited my panic.
Before I could react, a belt snapped over my neck, pinning my head back against the headrest. With a frightened wheeze, I clawed at the leather, and I flinched as hot, heavy breath wafted across my ear. Gagging at the putrid smell, I reached over, desperate to scratch my strangler's face or poke their eyes out.
I felt their greasy hair and tried to pull it, but my fingers refused to hold on. I tried again and again, using my nails for purchase, but the strands just kept slipping out of my weak grip. Shifting focus, I tried to claw at their eyes, but it felt as though I was moving through molasses as my hand slid down their face. Once I felt a wet, bulbous eye, I tried to scratch it, but I didn't have enough strength to do anything damage.
My frustration clashed with my terror and I tried to punch them, but my arm swung back in slow motion and merely prodded a stubbly cheek. Tears welled in my eyes as I writhed and gasped, my strangler's laugh adding insult to injury. Despite knowing death will set me free, fear and self-preservation rummaged through my mind, searching for a solution. And they found one.
Hoping I had enough grip and energy, I reached down and found the reclining lever. Wrapping my fingers around it tight, I jerked it up and heaved my body back, and I gulped in a deep breath as I fell backwards, the belt now slack. Not at all prepared to face my attacker, I slipped out from beneath the belt, flung open the door, and zoomed out into the storm.
Sheets of rain obscured my vision, but not enough for me to see that the keys were left inside a red convertible. After making sure no one was hiding in the back, I jumped in, started the engine, and took off, the wheels squealing through the puddles. A sole street curled down a hill, and I took it, adrenaline pumping in waves through my quivering body.
This rush was a confusing mixture of exhilaration and apprehension. I wanted out, but I wasn't giving up. I made it this far, and I was going to survive every cliche this masochist dreamed up. Sharks? Snakes? Zombies? Bring it on. And afterwards, I was going to detail every single trial and tribulation I went through as I sued the dream bank for all the trauma they caused me.
Up ahead, the road curved, and I gasped as it ended in a cliff. I slammed the breaks, but they didn't do anything. Breaking out in a cold sweat, I slammed them again and again as I yanked the hand break as far as it would go. The car refused to slow down, and I cursed myself for not anticipating this cliche. In a move of desperation, I swerved, but it wasn't enough as the car careened over the edge and took me with it.
My heart hung in my throat as I hung on to the steering wheel, my knuckles white, my screams frozen in my lungs, the raindrops like needles. An endless body of water spread below me, and I knew sharks were my next challenge. I screwed my eyes shut as I awaited the inevitable plunge …
… and I gasped as the car crashed against the surface.
I lurched forward, and I cried out as I bashed my forehead against the wheel. Groaning, I leaned back, my ears ringing as I looked around, disoriented. I was still in the convertible, but we were right side up, having crashed into the concrete wall of an indoor garage. Blood trickled down my face and I reached up, only to feel around my head in shock.
I was wearing the helmet.
Why was it in the dream?
Or had I made it out?
I looked down. I wasn't naked. My pyjamas were plastered to my sweat-soaked skin. I was out. I looked around at the broken glass and mangled metal in confusion. But if I was finally out, why was I in a car and not between silk sheets?
I removed the helmet, and a yell from behind made me jump. I turned to see one of the dream techs running towards me. Was she always that skinny? And why were her scrubs red instead of the usual blue?
She made it to me, panting as she took the helmet out of my hands, and I wrinkled my nose at her unpleasant breath. She said I'd had a nightmare and began sleepwalking, and I'd left the dream bank and stole a car from their underground parking before she triggered a wake-up signal in the helmet, which made me crash.
I stared at her, not believing what I was hearing. I told her I'd booked a projection, not a recording, and she gave me a concerned frown and claimed the opposite. Anger replaced my confusion, and I called her a liar and accused them of misconduct, and she reminded me that dreams can only be unlocked by the dreamer.
Furious, I cursed at her as I tried to get out of the car, demanding to see my file. She was quick to tell me not to move in case I made my injuries worse as she pulled out her phone and said she was going to call an ambulance.
While I sat there and waited, fuming, I glimpsed my reflection in the dangling rearview mirror. Unease rippled beneath my skin and I sat up, grabbing the mirror and angling it to show my neck.
There was an angry red mark across it.
As though I was recently strangled.
Trembling, I tilted the mirror up.
Cobwebs. Stuck in my hair.
Dumbstruck in utter stupefaction, I scanned the rest of my body. My pyjamas were dirty and there was black under my fingernails, but the rest of my examination was cut short by tinny circus music. A chill jolted down my spine and I whipped my head to face the dream tech. That was her ringtone. She smiled as she answered the call, and I drew back at her yellow, toothy grin.
What was going on? I was out of the dream, I knew I was. Had everything been real? What had the dream bank done with me? Done to me?
Ambulance sirens wailed as they entered the underground parking, and the flashing red lights reflecting off the walls triggered my recent traumas. With terror-fueled adrenaline flooding my veins, I jerked my legs free of the wreck, jumped out of the car, and booked it, the dream tech's yells merging with the screeching sirens behind me.

2023.06.10 18:57 moodymi_ Being trafficked for toilet paper

I was on vacation I’m Vegas, walking through the hotels casino trying to get to my room where I was meeting my bf. A dude who seemed familiar walked up to me and puts both of his hands on my shoulder forcing me to walk backwards as he talks to me about how he thinks he knows me and all that, he backed me into a elevator where another dude was. He backs off and they just stand by the door doesn’t seem like they know each other. We reach a level and the door opens to almost pitch darkness. I go to press my levels button but one had already grabbed me by the neck and arm and forced me out of the elevator and down the hall to a door. He opens it and throws me inside. It’s a VERy big room, almost like an empty speciality parking lot. There was a group of people standing in a semi circle around this desk that had nothing on it but a woman standing behind it. They toss me in the middle of the circle and they all start point things out about me that are good or bad like “her hair is nice and curly” “yeah but that snake tattoo on her ankle isn’t ideal” “yeah but her eyes color would be a nice change for the clients”
TW: SA I was frozen in fear, when they started talking about what to do with me I started to panic a little so one of the guys grabbed me from behind while the other started to take all my clothes but my panties off. I start kicking and crying out no, please, and stop but then the guy in front sticks both of his fingers inside of me over the underwear. He gives me such a nasty smile while he pushes his fingers as far up at he can. I scream out in pain and start flailing around and then the guy behind throws me on the ground. I quickly get dressed and then the woman asks me how much toilet paper I can get. Toilet paper? I ask and she says yes sternly I’m like “I can get as many as you like, I can get it all, I promise” and she says “how do I know you won’t bail, how badly do you want this” and I say “I would do anything not to miss my flight” they all give each other looks and then she nods okay. They all start walking away to a different door I came in from and before she goes in she looks at me and says “we’re always watching” I sit there and cry for a minute before going back up the way I came. I’m walking through the crowded hotel casino still trying to figure how to get to my room. I call my bf crying to him saying how I need to talk to him, something bad happened, I’m in danger and I need to speak to him and he basically tells me he can’t bc he’s hanging out with his friends and then he hangs up. I start bawling my eyes out trying to figure out what to do. The traffickers are all around in the crowd it’s just hard to point them out from the others and I’m trying to find a place to hide, then I slowly start to wake up

2023.06.10 18:55 Objective_Suspect122 LPT: To avoid rejection when approaching a woman, look for non-verbal signs of interest

You are at a bar and a beautiful woman catches your eye, as you decide to approach them, the idea of being rejected comes to your mind...this is where the story ends for most guys, but what if i told you there s a small thing you could do to find out if you re getting shot down or not?
It 's really very simple.. just get her attention (she's already seen you as soon as you entered that bar don't worry... this is for you to gauge her interest in you) by making eye contact and smiling from afar, maybe also raise your drink, and wait for her reaction.. if she acts like she didn't see you, or if you re finding it difficult to make eye contact with her, she's doing it on purpose.. don't approach, she isn't interested.. however, if she smiles back or if she acts shy, it's a green light.. Approach like you want to talk to a guy you don't know about something and make small talk and see where it goes..
one last thing, if you like her, ask her if she's single to make sure both of you are on the same page, if yes, grab her number, if not, move on.

2023.06.10 18:51 Tiber_ Is All Star Music Resort That Bad?

I stayed off park on my first disney trip, noticed All Star Music is affordable for the dates I'm looking at. But to be blunt, the Trip Advisor reviews are terrible. Is the hotel significantly worse than other options like the Pop hotel?
If its grim I'd rather spend 2 weeks in an off resort hotel

2023.06.10 18:50 Bobelle r/Nigeria will be taking place in the June 12-14 Reddit Blackout

This subreddit will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.

Thank you for your patience in the matter,
-Mod Team
