The results were hilariously instructive
My day job includes content strategy for a chatbot cluster. The past few weeks, I’ve been experimenting with ChatGPT for “research and development.” I work from home most days, which gives me the luxury of listening to music. During a recent exploratory session, The Beatles’ “A Day In The Life” popped up on my “Work Day” playlist. Structurally and lyrically, it’s anything but a formulaic composition. There’s no traditional chorus. The extended bridge feels like an interlude from an entirely different song. Though the lyrics are descriptive, their power comes from the existential feelings they evoke; the questions of life, humanity, and our place in its puzzle that we’re led to ponder. It’s the product of a unique partnership between two of the 20th Century’s great songwriters. Can A.I. replicate that, I wondered? Since ChatGPT was open in front of me, I went straight to the source. “Could you have written ‘A Day In The Life’ by The Beatles?” I asked. MORE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I can't believe it.
So a No Somniel run pretty much means that during the run, all activities that are done in the Somniel are banned. There are several combat-related implications of this - no refining weapons (no early strong weapons like a Levin Sword until Ch. 11 for example and can only use base weapons), no engravings, no Bond Rings, no cooking, no activities, no Well, and no Arena. The early Steel weapons that you get upon going to the Somniel from an update are banned as well as the Heroes rewards (the Bond Rings and the weapons, Folkvangr, Fensalir, and Noatun). No Arena means that leveling up the bond rank of Emblems on each character will have to be done in the maps themselves and skill inherits are impossible. Reclassing is still possible, but more difficult now that you have to level up bond ranks in maps and because weapon proficiencies past bond rank 5 will need at least two maps with the Emblem Ring. No DLC either, but that doesn't impact me since I don't have it anyway. And while it's not a Somniel activity, I didn't have Network Connection enabled for the weapon drops, EXP, and other small benefits scattered on a map. I had finished a normal Ironman run with no big issues (one death, RIP Louis), but I went into this run fully expecting to lose it. An Ironman means no using the Draconic Time Crystal, so no rewinding my mistakes and every input I make is final. If a character dies because of my poor decisions or they get crit by the enemy, they remain dead.
Run casualties:

• Chloe: Died in Ch. 6. Fog of war claimed another life. Chloe got hit by an axe fighter and a thief that I didn't have vision of. It was entirely my mistake to overextend with her when I could've just played it safe. I was going to use Chloe this run as an early carry before likely transitioning her to a more support based role if her combat couldn't keep up.
  
• Yunaka: Died in Ch. 8. Overall, I think Chloe's death kinda snowballed the deaths in Ch. 8. Going into this chapter, I lost a character that was going to be one of my early carries. Lapis was Chloe's replacement, but I needed to get staff proficiency on her just in case I was going to pivot her to a support later (especially since I can't get staff proficiency for a long time after Ch. 10). Lapis therefore had to have Micaiah for several maps and I tried to continue using Marth on Alear on Ch. 8 instead as a carry. However, because of my poor timing of Engage attacks and just being badly positioned because I was unprepared for when Kagetsu and Zelkov started moving, I got myself in a situation that required me to hit a 65% to defeat Kagetsu. Missed the 65% and Yunaka died to him.
  
• Framme: Died in Ch. 8. I didn't have Lodestar Rush or enough power in general to take down Ivy in one turn. But I had to start taking down her health bars eventually otherwise I would have game over'ed since enemies would've reached the target point. As such, almost all of my units were in range of Ivy at that point and she had free reign to choose whoever she wanted to kill. In the end, she chose to Killer Axe crit Framme to death (Framme would've died even without the crit).
  
• Celine: Died in Ch. 10. I'm really mad at myself for this death because Celine died on turn one. I calculated how much damage she would take from the armor and pegasus knight on the left if they both hit her and concluded if Celine was next to Alear, she would live at 1 HP. Well, she didn't live at 1 HP because I didn't account for the Resonance damage from having Celica on her. And of course both the armor and pegasus knight hit their 50% attacks. Celine was my only early game carry because Chloe had died. And now she was dead on turn one of a difficult 2-part map.
  
• Diamant: Died in Ch. 10. Got frozen by Hortensia and I couldn't get in range to Restore him without risking Alear's death to Hortensia's Dragon effective Luin. However, I did forget to have him equip a lighter weapon and because he had the armorslayer equipped, he got doubled by Hortensia and died. I don't fully remember if he could've lived if he wasn't doubled by Hortensia (because there were other enemies around him), but I'm still frustrated at myself for letting that happen. I don't know if it's just me, but I always have trouble with taking down Hortensia in this chapter; on my normal Ironman run, I had to resort to freezing her due to a lucky early Freeze staff from the Well, but alas, no such resources like that exist in a No Somniel run.
  

RIP Chloe, Yunaka, Framme, Celine, and Diamant.
The Final Team:
Some quick notes - the screenshot on the top has HP tonics already applied to everyone so subtract 5 if you want to see their true HP. That was the first thing I did when I went into the final map and then thought maybe I should screenshot everyone. The screenshot on the bottom has everyone with their Emblem Rings and full tonics applied to them.

• Martial Master Alear (Lucina): I really like support Alear and having them as the Bonded Shielder has worked wonders in my previous playthroughs. I figured that I would need Alear's +3 flat damage for my carries and since they support everyone in the cast, they provide +10 hit for free as well. I chose to go with Martial Master Alear because my combat carries were going to be in several different class types and I wanted the flexibility to have 100% activation rate on Bonded Shield for all of them if the need arises. I also really like Chain Guard. As such, in early game, I fed Alear experience through Mercurius farming and then gave them Micaiah to get staff proficiency and to farm via Great Sacrifice. By Ch. 11, Alear was a Griffin Knight because I believe having Alear in a flying class in Ch. 11 is invaluable so you can quickly reach the point on the map to trigger Ivy, Zelkov, and Kagetsu to join you before you get overwhelmed by Corrupted with Emblems. After staying a few more chapters in Griffin (until I could give Alear Lucina after getting sword proficiency off of her on another character), Alear became a Martial Master and mainly Bonded Shielded or Chain Guarded. Not being able to Micaiah Engrave a Shielding Art to drive enemy hit rates close to 0% meant that I had to be more cognizant of where I used Bonded Shield. The enemy AI mostly decides which character to attack based on expected damage (combination of actual damage they'll do in a round of combat, how likely it is they'll hit, and their crit chance on you is also factored in). So when Bonded Shielding, I had to make sure that Alear was not going to get targeted and if they were, that they were not going to get killed from it. As such, it wasn't as simple as plop two units down and go to town deleting enemies, but it was still really strong nonetheless.

Stat Boosters: One Boots, one Seraph Robe, one Speedwing, three Dracoshields, three Talismans, two Goddess Icons

• Wyvern Knight Amber (Lyn): For Amber, I was particularly cognizant of the fact that in my previous normal Ironman run, he sometimes had 90% hit rates in the endgame despite having a +hit rate engraving on his lances. That's why I decided to go with sword/lance Wyvern instead of axe/lance Wyvern even though it would've been easier to get axe proficiency on him (axe proficiency is at bond rank 2 on Leif while any sword proficiency requires at least bond rank 6, which means at least two maps worth of using a specific Emblem vs. just one). That decision really paid off. Amber was mostly using swords throughout the midgame of this playthrough because he wasn't getting 90%+ hit on lances even while I was activating his personal for +20 hit. I can only imagine his hit rates while using axes... it just spells disaster if a crucial attack misses in an Ironman (Yunaka's death...). If I saw Amber's hit rate really going into the gutter by the endgame, I was prepared to have him switch to Sniper and just kill fliers, but that never ended up happening especially after I used all my Secret Books on him (none of my other combat characters could use them since many of them capped dex and for those that didn't, they were accurate anyway). Amber remained good throughout even though by endgame, he rarely one-rounded enemies.

Stat Boosters: One Energy Drop, three Secret Books, one Speedwing

• Warrior Kagetsu (Roy): I had my sights set on getting Kagetsu into Warrior despite Wyvern being easier to reclass into and still a strong class for him because I felt I needed the absolute best out of my units to get through this run (and I believe Warrior is Kagetsu's best class). Getting him into Warrior was a bit of an endeavor, but having to delegate an Emblem to Kagetsu wasn't going to make the game harder; on the contrary, it likely made things easier because Kagetsu is such a strong unit to start with. Kagetsu immediately got Lyn for Ch. 12 and 13 to get bow proficiency. This worked out for me in a lot of ways because Ch. 12 is an easy chapter so Emblem allocation isn't that important to get through the map. Plus, Lyn on Kagetsu for Ch. 12 doubles the Wolf Knights once you get two Speedtaker stacks so I found it quite nice having Lyn on him. And my strategy for Ch. 13 always involved Lyn on Kagetsu (see my chapter thoughts in the comments) anyway. Now, he's got bow proficiency just in time for Ch. 14, where Ike immediately goes on Kagetsu to get axe proficiency. And soon after, he's a Warrior and just snowballed from there. I was initially a bit worried about using axes at all in this playthrough considering their low base hit rates (I was prepared to pivot Kagetsu into Wyvern and have him use swords if I needed to), but Kagetsu had 100% hit rate with a Silver Axe often. His Longbow was accurate too (same base hit rate as Silver Axe). Overall, Kagetsu snowballed hard. And when I got Roy on him, and eventually the Binding Blade unlocked, he could clear entire groups of enemies by himself (cleared the entire top lane of Ch. 24 himself with just a healer nearby). After this run, I wholeheartedly believe Roy is Kagetsu's best Emblem and it reaffirms my belief that Warrior is Kagetsu's best class. He just hits so hard with axes and doesn't take much damage either. Wyvern's great for Kagetsu, but really, try him in Warrior if you get the chance. He won't need crits to one-round, only a Silver Axe. If he can cleanly one-round a ton of endgame enemies with just a base Silver Axe and no inherits on this kind of challenge run, actually forging a Silver Axe up a bit and maybe giving it an engrave should achieve similar or better results than what I got as I'm pretty sure my Kagetsu is about average strength-wise (+1 strength than average if I calculated correctly, he got two Energy Drops and is overleveled which is why his strength looks astronomical). My Kagetsu was speed screwed (speed and build were lower than average in the midgame) for nearly the entire run because he should've capped speed way before looping and he didn't cap until after looping in Warrior. That actually mattered a few times and it made me really miss having Speed+X on him, but it wasn't something I couldn't work around and he was a powerhouse regardless.

Stat Boosters: One Boots, one Seraph Robe, two Energy Drops

• Mage Knight Pandreo (Marth): After I got Pandreo, I immediately gave him Lucina to get sword proficiency to switch into Mage Knight. He did pretty well in Mage Knight, but it wasn't until after getting partway through Ch. 17 (gave him Eirika so he got bond rank 3 for Bravery at that moment and got the Bolganone that Griss drops), where he really started to snowball. After that, he could consistently one-round a lot of enemies without help until Ch. 20. Unfortunately, that's when his speed cap in Mage Knight caught up and in the endgame, 31 base speed that is not quite enough without a bit of speed boosting from an Emblem considering I cannot inherit Speed+X. In the last couple of chapters, I mostly used Marth (sometimes switched to Eirika) on Pandreo. Marth has some +speed stat boosts innately and can boost damage as well if Engaged via Divine Speed providing an additional attack at 50% damage. Using Marth on a magic unit was something I did before when I played around and used Mage Knight Kagetsu lol It worked well then and it worked well now. This Mage Knight Pandreo's stats besides magic have actually been the least impressive I've had so far. I think his magic is maybe around +2 to +3 above average though (I forget what level I class changed him from High Priest to Mage Knight), which more than makes up for his other stat deficiencies. I'm just surprised he didn't cap dex or resistance by the end of the game when he usually does. Nonetheless, Pandreo was a powerhouse and carried the run like Kagetsu even though I couldn't just send him into a group of enemies without being covered by Bonded Shield and know he'll live whilst taking them all down (unless it's a group of enemies with Great weapons he can double, those are fodder to Pandreo).

Stat Boosters: Three Spirit Dusts

• Warrior Merrin (Eirika): Unlike with Kagetsu, I didn't go through four whole maps of raising bond ranks up for Merrin to change classes. That's because she'll probably end up being able to change into Warrior by Ch. 18 if I did that. Meanwhile, if I just waited until Ch. 17 to get Leif back, I would have Warrior Merrin in time for Ch. 19. It's a one chapter lag for a huge team power difference from Ch. 14 through 17 as one of my stronger units wouldn't be able to use Lyn or Ike. Merrin mostly chipped as a Wolf Knight and even when I got her into Warrior, she still was chipping (occasionally, she would one-shot fliers with the Radiant Bow) because her damage wasn't good enough and she was under the level curve. Plus, her hit rates were shaky for a good amount of time. However, I wanted her to be more so I kept feeding her kills whenever I could and I gave her Eirika after I got Marth back. With Eirika, she could sometimes do some great damage with a Brave Axe (and Eirika's damage boost helped her hit some one-round thresholds with a bow on magical enemies, that's how low her damage output was). But once she got access to Sieglinde, she could finally one-round some endgame enemies due to effective damage.

Stat Boosters: One Speedwing

• Thief Zelkov (Byleth): Bought a Short Knife just for him because I didn't want this unlucky guy to get randomly crit if he faced any combat, but in hindsight with all the luck that Byleth provides, maybe that wasn't necessary. Byleth on a covert gives +5 speed when Instructing and after a Goddess Dance and considering that I cannot inherit Speed+X on my characters, I knew I was going to need the speed buff since the speed thresholds get really high on Maddening. In the end, that speed buff wasn't needed for my primary carries (Kagetsu and Pandreo) until Ch. 20, but after that, it really was needed. Pandreo caps speed in Mage Knight at 31 (so with a speed tonic, Special Dance from Seadall, and Chaos Style activated, Pandreo can only naturally double enemies that are at 34 speed or below) and Kagetsu caps speed in Warrior at 35 (so with a speed tonic, Special Dance from Seadall, and while Engaged with Roy, Kagetsu can only naturally double enemies that are at 38 speed or below). From what I saw, enemy speed can reach up to 44 so that Instruct was absolutely needed so that they could double enemies up to 39 or 43 speed respectively.
  
• Dancer Seadall (Sigurd): I don't think there's much to say about Seadall except that I put Sigurd on him because I only have one Canter to give out and having it on a dancer felt like the most useful. I can't use Override, but that's a small price to pay for the flexibility in positioning for Goddess Dances.
  
• Sage Citrinne (Corrin): Citrinne replaced Celine's role as an early game carry after Celine's death. While she only really had one map to shine (Ch. 11), she really did shine in that map. I luckily had the foresight to get a melee weapon proficiency on Citrinne in case I needed to make her a Mage Knight. I could've promoted her to Sage, but I compared the stats and saw that Mage Knight Citrinne would double a lot of enemies on Ch. 11's map and that's what I needed at the time. Citrinne put in a lot of work that map, immediately one-rounding the first axe fighter (if not for Roy's Hold Out). I had Citrinne stay in Mage Knight for several chapters as she was my best option for a magical carry for some time (Pandreo was stuck in High Priest for several chapters while having Lucina equipped before he can reclass) and her performance was pretty good. If I kept using her for combat and gave her resources like Lyn, I feel she would've turned out great. But in the end, Citrinne reclassed to Sage once I got Corrin because she was one of my few units that could be in a Mystical class (no tome proficiency to work towards either for a long time) and pivoted into a support role after that (which was my intention with Celine once I reached that point). She was great nonetheless. Corrin on a Mystical unit is a tried and true combo that I really like because it means being able to debuff and freeze enemies in place from three range (especially important now that I don't have Canter), and the Fire Dragon Vein is the most useful one imo. In all honesty, I didn't use the Fire Dragon Vein much to ward enemies off. My combat carries were strong enough that I rarely needed it. As such, it was mostly spammed to raise Corrin's bond rank. But it was still great to have that option in my back pocket in case I needed it.
  
• Griffin Knight Lapis: Lapis replaced Chloe, but not as well as Citrinne replaced Celine. I couldn't really use Lapis much in combat because she had to have Micaiah equipped to get staff proficiency in the early game. I think I messed up and didn't focus enough on leveling Lapis's bond rank with Micaiah because she had to keep Micaiah all the way until Ch. 11 to get the proficiency. But tbf to myself, I nearly lost the run on Ch. 8 so leveling up bond rank wasn't on the forefront of my mind. By Ch. 11, there was no real justification I could make to try to make her combat work. As like any other staff user, she did her job.
  
• Cupido Fogado: I was unable to get Fogado off the ground in this playthrough. He was alright up to around when I did Roy's Paralogue as he could still one-shot the Wyverns there with a Radiant Bow even if his hit rates were in the 70s (had to just make sure to have a backup plan if he did miss, which he did a few times); but soon after that, I couldn't consistently find ways to have him contribute and he was left in the dust. I still brought him into the final chapter because maybe some of the chip damage he could do to fliers would help and I felt like I had enough staff users (he actually was helpful in two occasions on the final map!).
  
• Lindwurm Ivy (Ike): I probably would've used Ivy as a carry if not for the fact that she faces crit from nearly every enemy. Her inaccuracy with tomes is a problem as well, but I didn't need her to chip too often. Essentially, no engravings to fix these issues meant she was relegated to staff duty. She did her job and I think throughout this playthrough she had higher offensive staff hit rate (Freeze, Fracture) than Hortensia most of the time, though it wasn't by a significant amount. After midgame, Ike eventually went on Ivy mainly because I have just one source of Reposition (I really missed not being able to put this skill on most of my support units) and I wanted it on a flier.
  
• Slepnir Rider Hortensia (Micaiah): Nothing to really say about this as it's as standard and straightforward as can be. She and Citrinne had held a Surge tome just in case I needed someone with 100% accuracy to finish off an enemy (this did happen a couple of times this playthrough).
  
• Griffin Knight Mauvier (Leif): He's a staff user that can luckily take a few hits because he did need to survive a few in my playthrough. I put Leif on him because Leif wasn't doing much on anyone else after the midgame. But then again, it didn't much on Mauvier either besides being used to Quadruple Strike the Dark Bishop on the final map.
  
• Sage Veyle (Celica): I kinda messed up because I didn't realize Veyle had access to S tomes in her Fell Child class and the main thing I wanted to do was use her with Nova. I could've saved myself the trouble of reclassing, but in the end, it was okay because reclassing to Sage does increase Veyle's offensive stats. I do miss out on the Fell Child class skill (which is quite nice), but getting Celica Engage back is low priority anyway so the trade-off was fine. Since my team lacked a second source of magic damage, Veyle was helpful as someone who can do a lot of damage with magic. She didn't one-round a lot of enemies, but her performance was satisfactory.
  

Stat Boosters: One Seraph Robe, one Speedwing
In comments below, I detail my thoughts on the individual chapters if anyone's interested (starting from Ch. 6 since that's the first chapter where something actually happened and where I also had a clear goal in mind for the map). I never thought I would successfully complete this run so I don't have any screenshots to chronicle events from before Ch. 24-ish (also, I forgot to screenshot too many things). I unfortunately don't remember the exact details of the early/midgame chapters that well anymore, but I tried my best to recall whatever information I could. This is listed by the order I tackled the maps. A full turn count, playtime, and MVP list is here.

So i use to take Spiro for about 5 years i fluctuated between 25-50mg for my hirsutism and hormonal acne while being on a form of birth control. And it has always worked wonders for my skin I have never had better skin. However I just restarted spiro maybe 3 weeks ago, and it has really messed with my IBS to the point I have lost weight from going to the bathroom so much. So as someone with IBS i have been taking anti diarrhea and my doctor never said I couldn’t and that I should always treat my IBS symptoms with meds. Flash forward to this week I have been getting what I thought were panic attack episodes when my heart rate would skyrocket to 150 while just sitting down, hot flashes, feeling like im going to pass out, blurry vision, heart flutters, chest pain, shortness of breath at the most random times like when im driving or about to sleep. Come to find out there is a major interaction between spiro and loperamide that leads to irregular heart rhythms. Needless to say I will be stopping spiro before I can even benefit from the results but I know I need to choose whats best for me. Just a PSA to others because I don’t think this interaction is talked about frequently.

I recently used a ug bundle for it and saw some results and told me sister who also uses subliminals and she told me it was insensitive? Of course nobody wants the other health issues that come with vitiligo and me choosing to block those results out just for aesthetical reasons seem insensitive but I just find it so beautiful and I already have a similar skin condition to vitiligo from childhood. So is it really that horrible?

Many third-party apps exist to access Reddit using their API. A great deal of popular ones are free and open source.
Reddit has made changes in the prices to access their API that will make third-party open source apps used to access Reddit unsustainable.
This has the capability to kill third-party apps like Infinity and Diode, as well as Linux clients like Giara. RedReader was the only one lucky enough to be kept free of API charges so far, by Reddit's own pick. Who knows what the future holds for it and other projects.

It's undeniably and perfectly so, as to reveal this reality about my existence as God intended it, after I willingly chose Jesus as my redeemer. God waited on me, for 32 years to bring me this news!

I suspect Helios might be the devil himself, because Satan is the one fallen angel who can appear as the light. I believe 'the angel of light hides against the sun'. This was revealed to me in my thoughts one day as I was sitting outside sunbathing; all before I realised that he might be my father a few weeks later. Don't ask me how that is possible, I have no idea! My earliest memories are from the age of 2, as far as I can remember. I only know my life up to now in my 32nd year, which happens to be the same age Jesus was when he was crucified. I want to emphasise that this happened over easter of the same year of my own life! If you are at all familiar with the Holy Spirit, consider the magnitude of what God is doing in me.
Have you payed attention to what NASA has been up to recently? They want to reveal UFO documentation to the public. Did anyone see how terrified they seemed at their most recent 4 hour 'talk'? They had a panel of a dozen+ scientists, all stressfully lined up to speak on UFO topics and their plans of revealing it to the public. This happening coincidentally along the timeline of the insights I've been having is too good to be true. They start out by addressing the sun specifically in the talk. I think the 3rd speaker boils up a bunch of excuses, etc. and mention how their telescopes and technology can't look at the sun directly, unless it is very severely modified for that specific purpose, which also eliminates a lot of what is visible through a normal telescope.
Helios was considered a Titan and the sun god by the greeks, and later replaced by Apollo by the Romans. Have you heard the saying; 'the biggest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he isn't real'? That happened when he let Apollo replace him, so he could galavant freely without responsibility! Just as the Joker, so is the Jack. The joker in a deck of cards is 'free' to play any card it wants. Do you understand this logic? Whether that's true I won't know, because if Helios is Satan, then my fallen father is a liar. This why God is now my true Father, because I embrace Jesus as my redeemer.
Revelation 9 speaks of Appolyon 'The Destroyer'. This angel appears at the sound of the fifth trumpet. Which also lines up with world events as they currently stand. The sixth trumpet is the beast.

I'm extremely sensitive to what seems 'normal' to most other people. I often suffer as a result. The world has 'diagnosed' me with a multitude of faults, that now seem like they might actually be gifts from God. Bestowed on me, inherited from my fallen father. God wants to use evil for good! Why? Because God created everything, and what is considered evil is only a result of sin. God is taking back what always belonged to Him! Do you understand and see how we are the crown of His kingdom?
I only found this out about myself this year. The revelation happened over Easter weekend. I've been walking for ~10 years now in a respectful relationship with God. Daily Bible study, and devoted in my way of life to the best of my efforts. Not as works to save myself, but to prove my love and respect to God, as He so freely gave it to me in Jesus! I got carried away with my devotion and that is what led to the period of darkness I went through since covid and ultimately to this new Spiritual gift that God bestowed on me! This also confirms that works won't save us. Only by believing and accepting Jesus as our redeemer can we be saved. I try to obey God's commands out of my gratitude for eternal salvation through Jesus. I'm a sinner, but I try and God appreciates it!
I suspect I might be one of the witnesses written about in Revelations 11, who will prophesy for 1260 days (this number also lines up with my birthday, 12 June), coincidence? These coincidences are everywhere to be found throughout my entire life and it all points to this truth. It's so obvious that anyone who's not Christian might even find it scary. Everything that never made sense to me that always stuck in my mind, has been verified by this insight, through the Holy Spirit. I believe everything happens as it should and for a reason. I don't believe in coincidences. Do you want to dismiss my testimony as a coincidence? What if I was chosen by God? Would you consider that possibility? Look around you in the world. Go read Revelation! The Holy Spirit lives in me. I leave my adversaries to God, to do with them as He sees fit.
I went through a deadly struggle ever since covid lockdowns began. The world has been in a very weird place since covid broke out. This year during easter it was as if I was crucified over Easter weekend, in Spirit. Before it happened something bad happened in my family and there was hurt; it felt like I got kicked into a grave (prior 3 years of darkness). I said these very same words to my mother in conversation, in expression. Spiritually I went through death over Easter, again. Then right after Easter I felt ressurected again from my past, as these insights began happening in the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit opened my eyes and granted me my gifts and a glimpse of my place in eternity with God! Look at how God says we get a glimpse into eternity and receive gifts of the Holy Spirit in scripture. This is my gift!
Jesus is King and my redeemer. No one can erase my salvation in Jesus. I have been chosen for God's kingdom and His glory. There is no other way to eternal life but only through accepting Jesus as your redeemer, then do we find eternal life.
Show reverence to God in how you respond to what I'm sharing with you. God says, those who appose this part of scripture will be burned by fire. I'm not sure what that means. Not as a human who thought I was a broken and felt like a loser. I hope God has mercy on others due to what is being revealed to me. I just want to serve God. I don't want to hurt others. I am only interested in the will of God. I only know life as a human and it seems to me like God has bigger plans for my life than I ever would've imagined.
I hope that my testimony can help others.
I got put on a cocktail of different pharmaceutical, prescription medications that almost led me to suicide over the last 7 years that led up to the end of 2022. I was dead on the inside and physically ill from all these medications. I stopped taking them at the end of last year. After 3 years of the darkest period of my life, I just couldn't bare it any longer so I checked out and went back to basics. Then things started changing!

If you scoff at it. You scoff at the word of God. You have been but a wisp of vapour in your life. We haven't been here for very long. How would you know what God has planned or what is true and false? Only God knows and God speaks through the Holy Spirit. God even spoke through a donkey in Numbers 22! What allows God to speak through me you might ask? Only God himself allows that. Open your eyes and understand that the world we live in is suppressed to serve the agenda of Satan.
There is no power in this world that can suppress me because I have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and clearly chosen for my rightful place in the kingdom of God!

I am not alone because Jesus walks with me! Even though the entire church and my own family seems to deny my testimony. I have said this here before but people mock me and say all sorts of nasty things. God will deal with them. God has established me and blessed me in His eternal glory!

I (32M) have been with my wife (32F) for 12 years, married for 7. Usual story of sex being great at the start and then tailing off. She’s the only person I’ve been with, and I was quite a quiet person when we met. More recently I’ve come out of my shell and have been reflecting on life. We have no kids. We’ve had sex maybe 2-3 times this year and I’m constantly craving affection. I honestly can’t remember the last time we made out, probably when we had sex. But this isn’t the worst part for me. The worst part is that my wife does not want to talk about it. I’ve tried to talk with her, but often this is in moments of frustration, and somethings things comes out wrong, and very often she’s defensive and feels like I’m pressuring her. I’ve not got much out of her to be honest, but I think she also believes that it’s a problem. She’s told me it’s not me, it’s her, and the best thing for me to do is put no pressure on her, as in no initiating, she will. I know she’s not happy with the way she looks at the moment and struggles to feel sexy, I of course tell her she is, but appreciate that only goes so far. This is sending me mad though, because nothing seems to change, so I can’t tell whether she is working through things or just burying her head in the sand and hoping it goes away or changes by magic. As you can tell, I’m quite frustrated and am venting at this point. The result is that I have nobody to talk to about this, and it’s got to the stage where she’ll completely ignore anything related that I say. For example I sent her an article about making out each night before bed, regardless of having sex to try and reduce the pressure, completely blanked. I brought it up and tried to make out, completely blank. Now here’s the worst bit that I’m not proud of. I know she both reads mildly erotic books and gets herself off with her toy when I’m not home overnight. I rationally tell myself that doesn’t matter, and that she’s free to enjoy herself and maybe it will help her work through things, but I can’t stop the negative bit of my brain thinking she’s escaping the real world into a fantasy world that I’m not in. Writing this down just made it hit and now I’m sobbing, great. I've also tried sharing the porn and watch and thing I'm into with her from time to time and there's no interest, and knowing her I'm not sure it would be the best idea anyway. I’ve also tried suggesting therapy. She’s from a pretty conservative background and is very much a “nobody needs to know my problems” person. She also said “is it that bad?” which is a question with no right answer. I feel like if I ranted to her about this it would be taken as pressure, and the last thing I want her to do is something that she’s not comfortable with. I love her so much.

I would like to hear some stories from the community, to both commiserate and for some hope.
I am 39F, my husband is 38M. I just went through my first full cycle (my first one was cancelled days before egg retrieval due to an unrelated medical issue -- also very disappointing). All testing looked great, eggs were maturing well. They estimated 14 mature follicles prior to retrieval. To our surprise, 27 eggs were retrieved, and 23 of them looked mature! I was so happy and hopeful we would end up with at least a few embryos.
Things have snowballed downhill from there... only 3 were fertilized by the next day, and I was having horrible debilitating pain & bloating from the retrieval for multiple days afterwards. I had to leave work for a couple of days because I couldn't walk, and I work in a job where it is a huge problem if I call out sick.
We just got the day 5 report, and only one made it to blastocyst. A 3.7% success rate -- almost a total cycle failure. Now I am filled with depression at the chances this single embryo will be genetically normal at my age.
I've also felt we have not received good information from our team so far -- the lab report this morning was a canned response email saying "one embryo was frozen." No other details about the points of failure, or embryo grading, or possible explanations. My doctor is incredibly hard to get in touch with, so I don't even feel like I have an avenue to have a conversation -- not sure if this is others' experience as well. It's adding to the stress and frustration.
Tl;Dr: Very hopeful and encouraging results for the first part of the cycle were followed by major disappointments. Looking for success stories and/or similar sadness to share.

Madoka Magica has often been called a “deconstruction” of the magical girl genre, and while many fans refute that claim, it’s clear that it at least offers a darker twist on many of the tropes beloved and well-known in the genre. These tropes include the transformation trinket, the cuddly mascot, the monster of the week, magical girls having a secret double life, magical girls themselves being child heroines, and even the concept of why magical girls fight in the first place.
One of the biggest examples of these tropes being twisted is the magical girl transformation trinket, which in this series are Soul Gems. In more conventional magical girl series, transformation items are pretty, flashy items that enable the girl to transform from her civilian form to her magical girl form- and to be frank, serve the double purpose of selling toys and merchandise in the real world.
In PMMM, Soul Gems are beautiful Faberge egg-like items that serve the same purpose. It turns out though, that their name is very literal; they are gems that serve as containers for the magical girl’s soul (or may even be her crystallized soul, it’s not really made clear). Soul Gems are formed when magical girls make a contract with Kyubey and are the source of their powers. Moreover, because her soul has been ripped out of a magical girl’s body, her body cannot function unless her Soul Gem is within a few hundred feet of what is now her soulless husk.
In more traditional magical girl shows, transformation trinkets sometimes get stolen, misplaced, etc with no ill effect for their users except for an inability to transform. In PMMM, this is a literal death sentence unless the Soul Gem can be recovered (as displayed in episode 6, when Madoka tosses away Sayaka’s Soul Gem in an attempt to prevent her and Kyoko from fighting). The consequences of this are actually explored in one of the routes of the Madoka Magica PSP game; Sayaka is separated from her Soul Gem in a Witch’s barrier, and it takes Kyoko days to find it. In that amount of time, her body began to literally rot.
The next concept I want to explore is that of the cuddly mascot. Magical girl mascots are a common feature in many shows, from the Moon Cats in Sailor Moon to Cerberus in Cardcaptor Sakura to the many, many mascots in the Precure franchise. In all of these series, the mascots act as friends and often mentors to their magical girl companions; in most series, they are also responsible for empowering/awakening their magical girls.
In PMMM, Kyubey initially seems to be much the same. He is a cute, cuddly creature who is responsible for creating and guiding magical girls. Pretty soon however, it becomes clear that Kyubey is a sinister figure. His contracts don’t seem very benevolent; they seem exploitative, taking advantage of girls when they’re at their lowest point. And unlike the Senshi in Sailor Moon or the Cures in Precure, it quickly becomes apparent that the magical girls in PMMM are dealing with much higher stakes- at least, when it comes to their own wellbeing.
PMMM almost seems to ask the question: what kind of creature would give superpowers to children and send them to fight monsters that could very easily kill them? Even Kyubey’s appearance is highly implied to be a carefully calculated façade meant to lure teenage girls into a false sense of security and make them feel drawn to him. For example, Kyubey uses this to his advantage when he plays up his helplessness to Madoka in episode 1 when he’s being hunted down by Homura. In reality, the Incubator’s true appearance- as seen in Rebellion- are implied to be mechanical structures with giant eyes in the middle; a very alien appearance suiting their alien origins and psychology.
Speaking of child heroines, PMMM also addresses the magical girl tropes of the child heroine and the double life. In most magical girl shows, being a teenaged (or even child/preteen) magical girl is portrayed as an exciting, glamorous, heroic position. The role of magical girl is often contrasted against the mundane, yet still charming and school and civilian life. Magical girls often work hard to maintain the secret of their alter egos from their (non-magical girl) friends and family, although in some series the secret does come to light. However, the girls are usually able to enjoy a healthy balance between their personas.
In PMMM, magical girls seem more like child soldiers than glamorous heroines. Being young girls and not hardened adults, many magical girls face severe psychological trauma from the life they’re thrust into- much life real-life child soldiers. Most magical girls made their contracts without truly getting to think about their wish or the consequences of being a magical girl for the rest of their lives. And because getting enough Grief Seeds is literally life-or-death, they must spend most of their free time patrolling for Witches.
We get a good look at the toll being a magical girl takes on one’s social life through Mami’s character; supplementary materials reveal that she was once a popular girl who had a lot of friends, but after she was forced to contract in the same accident that killed her parents, she slowly lost all her friends because she had no time to do anything else but train, hunt Witches, fight Witches, etc in her free time. In episode 3, when Madoka talks about how she wants to be a magical girl, Mami outright tells her that the life of a magical girl is a lonely one and Madoka will no longer have time for things like boys or hanging out with her friends after school. Even in Magia Record- an alternate timeline that offers a much more positive look at the PMMM-verse- most magical girls are only friends with each other.
Another major example of a trope being twisted is that of the “monster of the week.” Most magical girl series have the girls fight monsters, and in many of those series the monsters are created from human beings. Sailor Moon and the Precure franchise are two standout examples of this. For example, in the fifth season of the 90s anime adaptation of Sailor Moon, people who don’t have “true” Star Seeds will turn into monsters called Phages if their Star Seeds (ie, souls) are ripped out. A similar phenomenon happens in Heartcatch Precure, with the added bonus of the victim’s consciousness eternally reliving the same state of despair that made them vulnerable in the first place. In all of these series, however, the magical girls are able to heal the victims and restore them to their former selves. Sometimes, if the monstevictim is a loved one or someone else known to them, they can even do a “I know you’re in there somewhere” plea to help them to break free.
PMMM takes the true horror of this concept up to eleven. Moreover, the victims aren’t regular people- they’re the magical girls themselves, and this fate is inevitable. Every magical girl, if she doesn’t die in battle against a Witch, will become a Witch herself who spreads despair and kills innocent people until the day she is put out of her misery by another magical girl. And she will be in misery; the Rebellion movie shows that Witches relive the worst moments of their lives over and over again and are psychologically tortured. A lot of Witches also seem to be in ironic hells. For example, Charlotte can create any dessert she wants except for cheese or cheesecakes, which is her favorite food. Roberta is surrounded by lascivious men (her familiars) who annoy her. And of course, every Witch was once a magical girl who once spread hope and saved people and now does the opposite.
It’s also made abundantly clear that once the Witch transformation happens, it’s over. There’s no saving someone. The only person in canon who is able to actually get results is Madoka- aka an actual goddess with huge karmic potential- and it comes with caveats (in one, later timeline she brings Sayaka back from the dead after she became Oktavia, and in Rebellion she is able to reverse Homura’s transformation into Homulilly- although afterwards Homura still needs to be brought into the Law of Cycles like any other magical girl about to become a Witch). In episode 9, when Kyoko and Madoka try to reach out to Sayaka’s inner self when Kyoko fights Oktavia, it ends in Kyoko’s death because nothing of Sayaka remains.
In most magical girl shows, the monsters of the week are just ineffectual mooks who are fodder for the evil organization opposing the magical girls. But in PMMM, they are mirrors of the magical girls themselves, agents of chaos and despair who present a very real threat to the magical girl’s lives- not to mention the lives of any unfortunate people who stumble across them.
Finally, I want to examine the topic of why magical girls fight in the first place. In most series, there is a group of villains who pose a threat to humanity/the Earth/etc and magical girls must oppose them. There is a very real external threat being faced.
In PMMM however, the beings that empoweperpetuate magical girls and are ultimately the threat are one and the same. Because the tragedy of PMMM is that magical girls are fighting against a self-perpetuating cycle; magical girls form contracts, magical girls become Witches, more magical girls form contracts and fight the Witches, and on and on it goes. Magical girls are their own enemy, in a sense.
I’m sure there are lots of tropes I’m forgetting, but this essay is already over 1,600 words long, lol. I might make a part 2 at some point, so give me your ideas!

I am writing to ask for some guidance on where to locate a life coach in central Connecticut to help an intellectually-challenged adult.
Our 34-year-old special needs adult child currently lives with us and we're in search of a life coach to help him move forward. He has some cognitive and intellectual challenges that limit his employment prospects and these can (and have) become an issue when he faces more complex life activities, such as major purchases, health care, executive thinking, and so on. He could very easily be taken advantage of by someone.
Although we have not had him formally tested, we believe that he may be on the spectrum to some degree. He handles himself poorly in a social setting, has a hard time making eye contact, and can behave immaturely. His poor social skills have impacted his ability to form any type of friendship with a female and have cost him in other areas.
On the other hand, he is quite capable in other areas.....and herein lies the problem. He is resistant to any coaching from us or his siblings. Most of the "life" resources that seem to be available in our area are for individuals with more profound challenges. Our son's IQ is in the low-to-mid 90's. At this point, it doesn't matter to us whether or not it's covered by insurance.
One key challenge is that it's hard to tell in some of his life-skill areas whether his lack of progress is due to his disabilities or because he refuses to grow up.
Absent his challenges, we would have kicked him out (lovingly) from the nest long ago, but he cannot live alone without some level of supervision. One of our chief concerns is that his poor social skills result in some isolation. He has interaction in our home with my wife and me as well as a live-in grandparent. If he moved out, he'd be alone except for his job (Security Officer). He is not responsive to suggestions on what he can do to socialize outside of work.
At this point, we think that he needs a life coach that can help him move forward and that has the skills to be able to differentiate between his intellectual challenges and where he is simply refusing to grow up. His continuing to live with us is holding him back and he is not all that responsive to our coaching.

Pardon for the possible ignorance, but I started watching DH over the last couple of years and always could find a stream on red bull or UCI website or whatever. I searched around for 30 minutes today but was unable to find any stream. I know the broadcast changed from Redbull to Disney or something... but it seems like there is no more free streaming?

Is this true? Or am I just looking in the wrong place? I'm a student, and there's no way I'm paying a subscription to watch the races, and I have a hard time believing casual fans like me would as well. I really became interested with the behind the scenes stuff on youtube, and really enjoyed seeing it come to fruition on the weekends with the race they prepared for all week. Is it true that there's really no free stream anymore? Where can I watch the races?

I keep seeing the anuad referenced when talking about the Ehlnofey and the Twelve Worlds. Personally, every time I read it, I keep finding major inconsistencies in it that prove to me that this is one of those false references added in by an unreliable narrator. Let me point them out:

1. The biggest thing for me is the lack of inclusion when mentioning the Elves. It only mentions a handful of them, such as the Dwemer, Chimer, Dunmer, Bosmer, and Altmer. Where are the Maormer or Falmer? What about the Orcs since we included the Dunmer? What about the Khajiit, who say in their creation myth that they may be related to the Bosmer through Azura? With the many different elves left out, I can't rely on the anuad to tell me how the elves came to be when they leave out many different elves that we interact with still.
2. The races of man are another big misnomer for me. The anuad includes the Nords, Redguards, and Tsaesci, but doesn't mention anything regarding the Kothringi or the Nedes, let alone the other races of Akavir. Sure, we can't determine exactly where they come from, but them being native to Tamriel is corroborated by the Nordic origin myth. The Nords believe they were born at the Throat of the World before splitting off to the different corners of the world. There's even proof of the Kothringi and Nedes being around before the arrival of the Nords in Skyrim, which the anuad claims that the Nords were the first men to arrive to Tamriel, going against their own beliefs. Even the Reachmen have their own story of their ancestors hiding in the Druadach Mountains before the Nords or Altmer arrived.
3. In regards to the stars, the anuad states the blood of Anu created the stars. What about Magnus and the Magna-Ge? If we believe the anuad, it not only dismisses the entirety of the Magna-Ge, but it also dismisses both the Mythic Dawn Commentaries and the lines of dialogue made in reference to Mehrunes Dagon's origins as said by Lyranth and Doombringer Celdina. The amount of what exists against the anuad's claim regarding the stars only proves to me that the anuad isn't as reliable as I've seen it in use as a reference.

To be honest, there's probably more evidence against the anuad still, such as Lyg and the dreugh, but I'm not as familiar with those subjects as I am with what I know above, so I'll leave that to anyone who's willing. Still though, the arguments above prove too prevalent to not call into question the validity of the anuad as a reliable source.
Please, prove me wrong or make a good counter argument. I really want to see what everyone else has to say about this.
