26[M4F] Anywhere - Kind and Romantic Man Looking For a Serious LTR (Detailed Post)
2023.06.10 18:28 Sil0707 26[M4F] Anywhere - Kind and Romantic Man Looking For a Serious LTR (Detailed Post)
I hope to find a kind-hearted woman to build a lasting relationship with. Genuine and kind, someone I can talk to about anything and everything. I want a partner who's excited to share their knowledge and experiences with me, grow together, learn new things from each other, and connect on a deeper level. You can share your thoughts and ideas with me, and I'll be happy to discuss all kinds of topics. I want us to build a wholesome relationship where being there for each other is enough.
This part is about what I'm looking for in a relationship: - Mutual love and respect and care, my chest will be your pillow while we binge episodes and watch a lot of things while cuddling, romantic dinners, cooking together, enjoying life to the fullest , holding hands while walking , going to the beach, traveling to new places, trying new things and experiencing what life has to offer together :) . Being there for each other through good and bad times . You can always count on me and tell me everything, I will be the shoulder you can lean on. I'm very romantic and I have a lot of love to give. When we are together expect me to always hug you, kiss you on your forehead, hold your hands and express my love to you and how much you mean to me while I look deeply into your eyes . Romantic moments and lovely things like giving each other pet names, making you bed surprise breakfasts. Tons of Cuddles and hugs . I will always sheer you up, motivate you, and help you . I'll always be there for you.
Currently located in Morocco and I work in IT field. I'm looking for someone 20 or older who's okay with long-distance until we figure things out.
As for my physical attributes, I have light brown skin, black hair, and brown eyes, average looking guy. I used to train in calisthenics and weightlifting, but I had to stop due to shoulder injuries. Personality-wise, I'm an ENFP MBTI type with a bubbly, caring, affectionate, patient, and ambitious personality. I'm easy-going, non-judgmental, and an ambivert depending on the day. I have a good sense of humor and always make my friends laugh. My hobbies and sports include running, calisthenics, cycling, cooking, and hiking. I enjoy reading, playing video games, traveling, camping, watching movies, TV shows, documentaries, and anime.
I can speak four languages fluently and hope to learn more in the future. I love to do many activities like having long walks and exploring new places. When it comes to indoors, I'm very creative at finding ways to enjoy our time. I love discussing all kinds of topics; we can talk about anything from history, geography, cinema, sports, religion, philosophy, languages, food, politics, spiritualism, video games, travel, cultures, technology, and more.
Regarding religion, I'm agnostic, and I don't believe in any religions. I'm still searching for the truth, so I don't have a problem with you being from any religion.
When it comes to films, TV shows, and anime, it's hard to pick favorites, so you can ask me later. As for music, I enjoy classic hip-hop, rap, rock/post-rock, jazz, 80s music, some metal, classic, ambient, pop, and soundtracks. I used to watch anime growing up, and I still enjoy it, but I don't watch it as much as years go by, still watching certain weekly releases.
Thank you for reading through all this! If you're interested, please contact me through DM or chat. Introduce yourself and tell me a bit about you, write more than Hey.

2023.06.10 17:21 Fall-of-Enosis We finally finished our campaign after 4.5 years. Together.
Just wanted to share this with ya'll as this was something that was very special to all of us.
Our campaign has been running pretty strong for the past 4.5 years, with us playing over Fantasy Grounds every other Saturday. The party consisted of myself Playing Rorik Ironfist, a one armed Dwarven Pugilist, Dibble Dabblestone, a Gnomish ADHD Artificer, Tharic, a half elven multiclass Servant of Mystra (mostly Pally/Cleric) and Fedhin, a warforged (robot more or less) wild magic Barb. The campaign started at level 1 and we ended at 20.
All of us players actually work at the same place and have known each other for many years. But our DM, (name changed for Privacy) Mark and I met first on Xbox nearly ten years ago through his brother when he randomly dragged him into a Crota's End Raid on Destiny. Both are Australian, but Mark lives on the East Coast as he is a professional actor. Spends most of his time in theater. But also has done some voice acting in games and a few smaller films.
Over the course of 4.5 years Mark weaved for us literally the best campaign I have ever played in DnD. It was 100% homebrew with the most vibrant cast of NPC's ever, spanning over most of the Moonshae Isles where it took place. We started out on a lowly fishing ship, barely knowing one another. We fought Goblins, saving the Moonwells, protected Kingdoms. We tavelled to the Fey Wilds asking for help on the side of the road, while a bunch of Fey ignored us. We made a quick enemy of an Arch Fey named "Sadereal" whom Dibbel immediately wrote a song about called "Sadereal's a dick". We "befriended" a Green Dragon. We were sucked into a bottle where we lived in a desert until we could escape. We found ourselves on a space faring ship, The Argent Traveler, making more friends of the crew along the way. We made close friends of William, the proprietor "Williams Wonder Emporium", who was always happy to invite us into his home/shop for a cup of tea and a chat about adventure. We generally over-payed Tanka, the kind and mostly reserved Firbolg owner and bartender of "The Ivy Rose", where we would always sit upstairs and drink in our booth to chat about our next steps. This is where Dibble also found a flyer an upcoming Dinosaur carnival. The entire city showed up to watch the dinosaur ships dock, but all hell broke loose when we found that they were out of their pens with all the crew massacred. We had to track down a bunch of Dinosaurs running amok! This is when Rorik succesfully grappled a T-Rex! (well TBH he grappled a TON of things). Rorik found out about his Long lost family (he was Born in Waterdeep, a beggar, thinking he was tossed out due to his misshapen arm) the Lightrocks. We travelled to White Rock, the largest Dwarven settlement only to find that most of my clan was lost, but a good amount were still holding on. We took back the mines from an evil Beholder named Xualaxisk, who was the one that bit off Rorik's arm as a child. Rorik plunged his fist into the eye and had William fashion a new Ironfist out of it. Dibbel grew close to another smart Gnome named Layla and she helped him make new special ammunition for his rifle "Duchess".
But some evil was set to take over the entire Moonshaes as well as Toril. All this crazyness was coming to a head and we had to stop it. "The Onyx Empress" was behind all of this. All of our friends we made along the way were rallying together, and we found a relic that would allow us to meet the Onyx Empress in a pocket plane.
But months before all this happened, Mark told us that we wouldn't finish the campaign.
At least not over Fantasy Grounds.
He told us that for the last session he wanted to fly out from the East Coast so we could finish the campaign. Together. In the same room.
This was obviously amazing. Not only would I get to meet a good friend whom I had never met in real life, but we would be together when we finshed this story that was so important to all of us. We had a few months to prepare while we contiued to play over FG. We rented an AirBNB on Oregon Coast. Planned Food. We all ordered custom Minis from Hero Forge, as Mark was already painting Minis and creating terrain for the final battle/session.
We knew that we wanted to do something special for Mark. Get him a gift. Something to remember this wonderful journey he took us on. We eventually settled on a party portrait. I contacted MANY artists on Reddit and eventually settled on
u/Weeeizard aka Isabell. I asked her to create a drawing of all of our characters, together in the Ivy Rose, but with one extra person there. Mark. Retelling us his stories. Isabell was awesome throughout the entire process. Professional, on time, and never complained if I needed changes done to the characters. She understood how important all of this was to us. We spent four wonderful days together at a rented house on the Oregon coast being nerds. One of which was a 7 hour session where we faced off against our BBEG, The Onyx Empress, with wonderful terrain and gorgeous minis hand painted by the DM we cherish so much. We barely survived only to have the BBEG implode sucking Tharic (the guy toying with the silver flame) in immediately killing him, but sending him back into the hands of his God, Mystra. This is a GOOD death for Tharic. He only ever wanted serve his mistress and was happy to do so to bring balance to Toril. Dibbel was saved barely as he was out of the AOE. The rest of us survived and ended the campaign going our separate ways. Dibbel (the gnome) and Phedin (the warforged) are returning to Caer Callidyrr (the main city in the Moonshae Isles) to help rebuild the city after the destruction the BBEG had brought. Rorik (my character, the tattooed Dwarf) is returning to his clan and family, that he only recently realized were still alive. There is a teleportation circle available so he can go and visit his friends in Caer Callidyrr when he needs.
We presented the art to Mark after the last session and he LOVED it. We all teared up a bit together with him and embraced. He was so greatful for the memories that had now been immotalized.
We finished the weekend, by chilling on the beach, playing a bunch of board games, probably drinking too much and also watching the DnD movie together.
Thanks for reading my wall of text. This was so special for us, and I hope you all have a wonderful campaign/DM out there for yourselves! It's so nice to be able to share the game we love so much with one another.

u/SterlingVermin for the Pugilist. Rorik was a blast to play and will probably be one of my favourite characters ever. Although me and my DM had to nerf the class a bit in the later levels.
TLDR: We played a 1-20 homebrew campaign over 4.5 years on FG with a DM I had known for a decade but never met. He flew in for the final session so we could play together in the same room. We commissioned some dope art that he loves. It was a wonderful weekend for us and we're starting a new campaign soon!

2023.06.10 17:18 Bunny22222222 Took my reactive dog on vacation
So last month I took my reactive pitbull terrier mix on my road to see my sisters college graduation. It was a 10 hour drive there and back, and he was nothing but amazing. He basically just laid down the entire time! When we went to truck stops to get some fresh air & let him potty it was a breeze! He was so happy to be able to smell everything & see new scenery. We ended up taking him to Sunset Beach in NC which is dog friendly twice! We had to go on a narrow boardwalk to get to the beach, and even an off leash corgi came running up to him(I didn’t even notice because it came from the back), and he stayed calm & didn’t try to attack!(we had a muzzle and his prong collar so he couldn’t even if he reacted). we had a nice time sun bathing & going in shallow end of the water. He only got reactive once (we probably saw over 30ish dogs there) & he stopped it fairly quick with a little distraction& treats. He was amazing in our pet friendly air bnb. We crated him up when we left (nothing more than 4hours) & over all he seemed pretty calm. Definitely motivates me to bring him out more, and makes me genuinely excited for what our future together can be. I feel like I genuinely put a lot of blood sweat in tears into this dog when I found him hanging dumped from a fence. It’s been over a year and a half now, and honestly couldn’t of asked more of him. He definitely seems happy out of the city & to see some grass and sand haha.

Hey friends, going to spend the week in Puerto Rico working from down there, just bought a ticket last night for $36, what a steal! Have any of you guys been? Any tips? Im a pretty low budget traveler so I don't like taxis or resorts or anything, I like to keep my costs really low so I can keep going to all these exotic locations my Go Wild pass will get me to. Let me know if you have tips on this beautiful island. I love beaches so thats first and foremost, scooter rentals, boat rides, I need to find a way to get over to that island with wild horses and pink sand! If anyone wants to meet up and have a beer I have amazing stories, ha ha, just my last trip to Costa Rica in April was fuckin wild:

2023.06.10 15:00 girl_from_the_crypt Stuck on earth and looking for a job: We're summoning a sea goddess
If I’d had any idea that the same six ladies who had been cooking and serving me meals and beverages were secretly a coven, I… well, I probably would have kept going there anyways. We’d arranged to meet after hours together with my savior human and Elijah Carter to go down to the grotto. The witches were already waiting for us outside the unlit neon sign. They were wearing the same matching dresses that constituted their mildly out-of-date yet undoubtedly elegant diner uniforms. With them, swaying and light on his feet like a tiny golden bird, was Frankie Preston.
I skipped up to him to give him a hug. He rolled his eyes, then wrapped his arms around me rather tightly. “Hey Sunshine. Oh. He-ey,” he added to Nettie when she came up behind us. “We’re good, right?”
“I said so, didn’t I,” she replied evenly. “I gotta stick to my word now, for better or for worse.”
“You know, I like you just fine. I was being an asshole for no reason. It’s not gonna happen again.”
“It better not,” she said, shrugging sweetly while not bothering to hide the threatening undertone in her response.
“Right,” Rhonda chimed in, looking slightly uncomfortable. “I understand you got a nixie or mermaid needs rescuing…”
“Precisely. You’re sure this is manageable for your coven?” I ventured.
“I’m not sure about anything. But I told you we’d see what we can do.” She gave me a generous smile. “You’re getting the friends-and-family-discount.” She reached over to ruffle Fran’s hair. He groaned, then moved over to me to make room for Nettie as she sidled up to the ladies.
I slid my hand into his. He grinned. “Demanding, you.”
I withdrew. “Sorry.”
“Oh, brother,” he grumbled, snatching back my hand. “Sure stand out from this crowd tonight, don’t I?” he asked jokingly, nodding at the gathering.
“You stand out most of the time.” I perked up when Mae-Lynn pointed out another, decidedly taller figure approaching. Eli was wearing a longer coat, shielding himself from the nightly chill carried to us upon the breeze. His hands were buried in his pockets and his shoulders hunched, but a smile crossed his face nevertheless when he spotted us. "Good to see you. How've you been?"
I traded uncertain glances with Nettie, then Fran. "Busy," I concluded, answering for the three of us.
"I'm glad you came," my savior human supplied.
"I don't know if I can be of much use," he muttered, allowing her to wrap her arms around him for a moment.
Rhonda waved him off. "Sure you can. Let's get going, now that we're all here."
Our group began to head down to the beach. Dim moonlight illuminated our path through the streets and across the sandy expanse, guiding us along with the sound of tossing waves drawing nearer. The smell of salt hung heavily above us, the wind tugged on our clothes and tousled our hair. We were a strange procession as we climbed over the rocks and down to the mouth of the cave. Had anybody seen us, I wouldn't know what they'd have made of it. I glanced over at Nettie to find her shivering. Whether it was due to the crisp spring night temperature or the excitement of the moment I couldn't tell. Instead, I reached for her hand. "Are you alright?"
She gave me a wavering nod. Flicking on her lime green flashlight, she allowed the bright beam to cut through the darkness. Her thumb rubbed over the stickers adorning the shaft of the small torch—a piece of memorabilia from our early years. "I put those there," I reminded her, pointing them out.
"Oh, I know," she deadpanned. "That was the same week I gave you all those handicraft supplies.
Never again. You know how long it took to pry off the dozens of googly eyes you glued to the toilet seat?"
"It was artful. I thought you'd like them."
She snorted, lightly batting my shoulder. "Of course you did." Her chest heaved as she took a deep, cleansing breath. "Okay. Let's go."
Elijah and I led the way ahead, the former carrying his own heavy flashlight which he kept trained on the ground at our feet. We tried to stay as close together as possible, wary of the slippery surface we were walking on. The further we proceeded, the more anxious we became. Eli hid it masterfully, the only thing that gave away his apprehension being the vein that bulged on his forehead. I could feel his tension, though. It was in his shoulders, the stiff way he held his neck, in the force of his grip on the torch. It almost looked like he was trying to crush it.
The witches appeared to be nowhere near as impressed. They moved forward with a relaxed sort of confidence, casually stepping over puddles in their paths as though they were merely skirting around tables at the diner. Their attitude was mirrored by Frankie. I couldn’t help but glance back at him over my shoulder every couple seconds, his wheat-blond locks bouncing around his head with each of his spirited steps. Nettie Peterson, hanging from my arm, followed my gaze and let out a low grunt. “That boy is entirely too cheerful right now,” she muttered, only to squeak when she nearly tripped over a small rock. “Lord, I hope you know where we’re going.”
“Sure we do,” Elijah replied from up front.
“Approximately,” I added.
We weaved our way through the tunnels, trying to recall the way to the corpse cave. Rhonda had told us she wanted to see Kit Sutton’s mother. In a strange way, I was looking forward to seeing the sleeping giantess again. Despite the horror she was surrounded with, her sight had left a deep impression on me. The coven was chatting to each other in the back, their hushed voices the only sound to break the otherwise clammy, uneasy silence. Until we heard
it.
A voice carried through the darkness, sweet and bell-bright with a heated, gravelly undertone. Her song filled the washed out corridors, echoing off the rounded stone walls and riding the ripples of the lake we were currently passing by. The words were in a foreign tongue, but I would have recognized my roommate’s singing anywhere.
Nettie tensed up, her arm around mine turning to stone. I could hear the hitch in her breath, taking note of the way her eyes grew wide in the lamplight. Our whole group had come to a halt in the middle of the large cave room, glancing about in awe as we tried to locate the source of the voice. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere at once, an omnipresent melancholy with just the hint of a fury in it. Like a calm, slow river with a strong, rapid undercurrent. I listened in rapture, my gaze fixed on my savior human’s elegant profile. Her lower lip trembled ever so slightly, its gloss capturing the warm sheen.
"Kit!" she suddenly called out.
The song broke off, leaving only eerie silence.
"Are you there?" my best friend shouted again, her voice nearly breaking.
Everything was still for another beat. Then we heard stones shift and clatter, followed by naked feet slapping the wet ground. We turned around, and there, standing beneath the arch of one of the side tunnels, was Kit Sutton. Nettie let out a sharp cry, broke free from my hold and ran towards her, wrapping her arms around the taller woman's neck. Kit stared down at her in shock before throwing her arms around her, burying one hand in her long, dark coils of hair and pressing the other to the small of her back. Anabel, who works the kitchen at the diner, let out a soft coo. We stayed back for the two of them to have their moment before my savior human eventually disentangled herself.
"You're very wet," she told Kit, inspecting her now damp sweater.
My roommate's lips curled. "I mean, you hugged me pretty close, so…"
Nettie smacked her upper arm. "Idiot," she whispered, her tone warm and gentle.
The smile faded from Kit's face as her eyes roamed the small crowd, settling on me. "What are you doing here? I told you not to come back, and now you've actually brought
more people?"
"Kit, this is the coven from the diner. Coven, this is the water spirit I told you about." I turned to Rhonda, who nodded and took a step forward.
"We came to see if we can't do something about your situation," she told her.
Kit scrunched her brows. "You guys are a coven?"
"They are," I supplied. "And they managed to hold off my stalker with their magic so they're pretty serious about it. That reminds me; I have a stalker now. Anyways, they want to see your mom."
My roommate looked beyond skeptical. "You know this is dangerous, right?"
Hailey groaned. "Girl, we've been in this for a long-ass time. Either you let us see what we can do or you don't, but don't think for a moment that we're ignorant."
Kit threw up her arms. "Fine. Come along then. I warned you."
She started marching ahead, her impossibly long hair trailing behind her like a veil. Nettie had to be careful not to step on it as she walked alongside her, the two having linked hands. When we reached the corpse room, my savior human looked like she was about to faint. The sight once again sent a cold chill down my spine and I instinctively looked over at Eli Carter. His face was scrunched up, his brows knitted as he attempted to keep his eyes trained on the ground. Frankie on the other hand appeared to be rather interested, his gaze roaming the hall. The coven didn’t seem to care whatsoever, instead following Kit to the water hole where the enormous statuesque creature was resting.
“Woah,” Nettie said eloquently as she leaned over to look into the depths of the pond. “That’s your mom?”
Kit Sutton gave a brief, unspirited nod. “She is, actually. Quite a bit bigger than me but yeah. Well, I don’t see how this is—” She fell silent when the six ladies started to round the pit, exchanging knowing glances as they reached for each others’ hands. “What? What now, what are we doing?” she stammered, taking a step back and slightly raising her barnacle-covered arms.
Hailey turned to her with an encouraging smile. “We could wake her up. I really think we could.”
For a moment, she didn’t respond. “You think that’d help?” she then asked.
“Would it help to have a giant sea goddess up against your father?” Rhonda deadpanned. “Of course it would. He clearly had a problem with her, else he wouldn’t have done that. He felt threatened, most likely. You might not be able to fight back against him yourself, but she ought to tip the scales.”
“Great idea,” Frankie said, earning a proud nod from the older waitress. “It’s a good rule of thumb. If you’re too weak, you just find someone strong and scary to hide behind.” He beamed at me. “You’re so pretty, Eva.”
Kit snorted, looking a little more at ease but still uncertain. “You guys know I’ve actually never spoken with her, right? What if she’s, like, feral? Maybe she won’t want to help me; she could just make things worse.”
“Worse?” Nettie Peterson blurted out. “Girl, you’re grounded for a hundred years! It doesn’t get much worse than that.”
“Good point.”
“Glad we agree,” Mae-Lynn crisply chimed in. “Okay now, everyone join hands, go on.” She reached out for us and we gathered around the pool. Nettie entwined her fingers with mine on my left while Aliyah, the oldest of the witches from the looks of it, took her place on my right. She told Frankie to stay out of the circle, giving him an apologetic smile as she sent him off to wait on the side. “Sorry, sweetie,” she told him over her shoulder. “But having an inorganic link might disturb the chain.”
“So what now?” Elijah asked.
“All of you just close your eyes and clear your minds. Don’t think of anything, like you’re meditating. You’ve got to stay calm. I’m gonna borrow what I energy I can from your minds and use it for the big girl,” Rhonda told us, pointing her chin at the motionless giantess in the water down below. “Now, what Blue here says is true, so if this works, we’ll just all
bolt, okay? We wake up the water queen and then we leg it.” She nodded to Kit. “You have the best chances at dealing with her on your own. I’m optimistic overall but she’s been locked inside her own body for God knows how long. She’s likely to be confused and we don’t want to make her feel ganged up on.”
“That actually makes sense,” my roommate conceded, brightening up a bit.
“Everybody ready?” Rhonda asked, receiving scattered nods and mumbles of affirmation. Bracing herself, she rolled her shoulders and proceeded to raise her voice, beginning to murmur something I could not understand. It sounded like a human language, but not any one that I knew. My heart was beginning to beat a little faster, her rhythmic cadence reminding me of the beating of a drum. I couldn't help it. I took a peek at Rhonda, my stomach sinking when I saw her face.
Her eyes were wide open and had rolled back into her head, leaving only the white to fill the eerie, void spaces. Her body was trembling as if there were invisible hands shaking her by the shoulders. The veins and arteries on her face and neck were standing out, weirdly discolored. The longer I looked at them, the darker they became until eventually turning black entirely. They were pulsating, the blood pumping through them at a powerful, forcible pace.
I pressed my eyes shut once more, trying to clear my mind despite the image sticking with me.
Focus on nothing, focus on nothing… It turned out to be quite difficult. I've never tried to actively empty my head before, not like this. Something always kept popping in, disturbing the peace up there. Unwanted thoughts of Jewel's tears, the Devourer Of Worlds, my intestines quelling from my stomach pushed their way into the void I was trying desperately to create. When it wasn't that, it was the image of Frankie's beautifully coordinated movements. I briefly allowed my eyes to flutter open once again to turn and sneak a glance at the waiter. He was sitting cross-legged on the rocky ground, busy tossing pebbles at the slimed-up corpses to see if they stuck. Forcing myself to concentrate, I tried to picture what "nothing" would even look like.
Probably all black. Light had to be absent after all. Endless; no ceiling, no floor, nothing to stand on and nothing overhead. Nothing to hear, see, smell or feel. Nothing at all; nowhere.
Around me, I felt the air in the room beginning to heat. The grating of stone upon stone penetrated my ears in the most uncomfortable way, but this time, I was determined not to muck it up. My facial muscles straining as I clenched my lids and mouth shut, I tried to ignore the sound of water beginning to bubble nearby. The pond was hissing as if it were a pot of boiling soup, splashes and dripping noises overtaking the silence. Rhonda's voice rose higher and higher, bouncing off the hollowed cavern walls and coming back with three times the volume. Goosebumps threatened to break out on my arms, the hairs on the back of my neck already standing up. I had lost my sense of space—I had no idea who was standing beside me anymore, I could barely feel their hands in mine; their touch was a foreign sensation I was only distantly aware of.
There truly was nothing there. Nothing but Rhonda's chanting. It filled every nook and cranny of my mind, coming from everywhere around me. My pulse was fluttering as if dancing to its rhythm. My heart was pounding like a drum to the best of its cadence. A faint sense of panic was whispering to me at the edge of my conscience, but it was unable to perturb the
nothing. There was a veil before my inner eye that could not be lifted anymore.
And then, all of a sudden, one of the hands I was holding was wrenched from my grasp as a scream interrupted the incantative chorus. "Run!" Rhonda cried out.
My eyes flew open, instantly coming to rest on the pond. The water's surface was bulging, looking like a stretched out balloon about to burst. It formed a strained, blue dome, as from beneath it, two enormous hands rose to break its ceiling.
"She's coming!" Kit yelled out, her face a contorted grimace of hope and horror. "Get out of here! Hurry!" Shoving Nettie and Eli towards the exit, she rallied our group.
Frankie had jumped up and snatched my hand, already dragging me into the direction of the corridor. I craned my neck to look behind me, only for him to pull harder. "This room is gonna be flooded in, like, a moment! You wanna drown?" my waiter shouted, largely into my ear. I was still a bit dazed, the mental fog from the ritual not yet having let up. I really didn't have the time to come to, though. The ground was shaken by a sudden, massive earthquake. The walls began to shudder, drops of water raining down on us from all sides along with tiny pebbles coming loose from up above.
"Get out of here!" Kit bellowed, her voice so loud it came close to cracking.
Rhonda and the rest of her coven were already crowding the mouth of the cave room, racing out into the tunnel single file. I, Frankie and Elijah followed on their heels, the latter ducking his head as he slipped through the opening. Nettie kept looking back over her shoulder. I yelled her name at the same time as Kit shouted at her to leave. Eli Carter was already fumbling with his flashlight and grabbed her wrist with his other hand to drag her into the corridor with us. "You need to—"
"I know," she interrupted him, tearing herself loose and breaking into a sprint.
And thus, we ran. Somehow, it was a lot easier to find the way back than I'd expected. Before I even had the time to process the twists and turns in our path, we were already standing outside the cave again. The stale air from inside was replaced with the fresh smell of salt and the roaring of restless waves. My heart was pounding like a sledgehammer, my blood singing in my veins.
"We can't stay here," Eli hollered as he emerged behind us. "When that thing stands up, the whole cave is gonna break in! Move!"
Nettie Peterson let out a high-pitched whine but readily hurried along as the ten of us scrambled up the sand and boulders, away from the grotto and the shore. We finally came to a halt a safe distance away on one of the cliffs, overlooking the scene. For a moment, the only sound disrupting the nightly symphony was our joint heavy breathing.
Then the sound of massive rocks shifting and cracking reached our ears. From the grotto, a vibration spread through the ground all the way over to where we were standing. The mouth of the cave began to crumble, bits of stone falling down and sealing the opening. Then the whole cave began to split. My savior human grabbed onto my arm, her fingernails digging into my skin. "She'll be okay, right?"
"For sure," I said, ignoring my pulse thrumming in my ears.
Time to call Mary Markov again.

This is where hiring an interior designer can make all the difference. In this blog post, we'll explore why investing in a professional interior designer is not only worth it but essential to achieving your dream home aesthetic. So sit back, relax, and let us convince you why hiring an interior designer should be at the top of your renovation checklist! https://preview.redd.it/t0373wp2h65b1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=b41f248e24ce3fe7bec0ea5884bf2b113002e1b1 Introduction to Interior Design Services Hiring an interior designer is a big decision. It's important to do your research to find the right designer for your needs and budget. Once you've found the perfect match, there are a few things to keep in mind when working with an interior designer. First, be clear about what you want. The more specific you can be, the better. This will help the designer create a space that you love. Next, trust the process. Interior designers have years of training and experience in creating beautiful spaces. They know what works and what doesn't. So if they make a suggestion that you're not sure about, trust them and see how it turns out. Don't be afraid to speak up. If you have an idea or vision for your space, share it with your designer. They'll take your input and ideas and turn them into reality. Working with an interior designer is a great way to get the home of your dreams. With their expertise and guidance, you can create a space that's both stylish and functional. So if you're considering hiring an interior designer, go for it! You won't regret it. Benefits of Hiring an Interior Designer When most people think of hiring an interior designer, they assume that it is a luxury reserved for the wealthy. However, the reality is that interior designers can provide a range of benefits for any home or business owner, no matter their budget. Here are just a few reasons why hiring an interior designer is worth the investment: Interior designers have access to resources and products that the average person does not. This means that they can help you find the perfect furniture, fixtures, and accessories for your space. Interior designers have extensive training and experience in creating functional and beautiful spaces. This means that they can help you maximize the potential of your space and make it look its best. Interior designers can save you time and money by helping you avoid costly mistakes. They can also help you get discounts on products and services that you might not be able to get on your own. Interior designers can help increase the value of your home or business. If you are looking to sell in the future, an interior designer can help you make strategic improvements that will boost your asking price. How to Find the Right Designer Assuming you've decided that hiring an interior designer is the right move for you, the next step is finding the right one. How do you go about finding the best designer for your needs and style? Start by doing your research and making a list of potential candidates. Once you have a list of designers you're interested in, reach out to them and set up consultations. During these consultations, be sure to ask lots of questions and get a feel for their design process and style. After meeting with a few different designers, you should have a good idea of who will be the best fit for your project. If you are located in Bangalore and seeking the expertise of an exceptional interior designer, look no further than The Studio by Nandita Manwani. Situated in the city, this esteemed design firm is renowned for transforming spaces into captivating and functional works of art. Common Mistakes to Avoid When Hiring an Interior Designer When hiring an interior designer, avoid making the following common mistakes: - Not doing your research: Before hiring an interior designer, be sure to do your research. Read reviews online, ask for recommendations from friends or family, and meet with several designers to get a feel for their style and personality.
- Not being clear about your budget: Be upfront about your budget with your interior designer. This will help them understand what you can and cannot afford, and allow them to work within your budget constraints.
- Trying to do it all yourself: Many people try to take on the role of both homeowner and designer, but this is usually a recipe for disaster. Interior design is a complex process that requires expertise and experience. Leave the design to the professionals!
- Not communicating effectively: Good communication is essential when working with an interior designer. Be clear about what you like and don't like, what your goals are, and what you expect from the final result. If something isn't working for you, speak up!
- Being too rigid: It's important to have a vision for your space, but don't be afraid to let your designer take the lead. They may have ideas that you never would have thought of that end up being perfect for your home. Trust their expertise and be open to new possibilities!
Cost Considerations Hiring an interior designer may seem like a luxury, but it is actually a wise investment. The cost of hiring a designer is often offset by the savings you'll achieve by avoiding costly mistakes. Designers have access to trade discounts and can save you money on furniture, appliances, and other home decor items. In addition, they can help you maximize the use of your space, which can save you money on storage fees or moving costs. Examples of Successful Interior Design Projects There are countless examples of successful interior design projects, but here are a few of our favorites: - A Modern Mountain Home: This project features a beautiful mix of rustic and modern elements that come together to create a stunning and unique space. The use of natural materials like wood and stone helps to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the clean lines and contemporary furnishings add a touch of luxury.
- A Chic New York City Loft: This project was all about creating a stylish and functional space for a young family in the heart of the city. We worked with the existing layout to create an open and airy living area, complete with custom built-ins and plenty of storage. The end result is a chic and comfortable home that feels like an oasis in the bustling city.
- A Bright & Airy Beach House: This project was all about bringing the outdoors in and creating a light and airy space. We used neutral colours throughout, with pops of blue to reflect the ocean view. Natural materials like wicker, rattan, and jute help bring a sense of warmth, while still keeping the space feeling breezy and beachy.
Conclusion Hiring an interior designer may seem like a daunting task, but it can be a worthwhile investment. An experienced professional is able to help bring your vision to life and create the perfect space for you that reflects your individual style and personality. With their expertise in design, materials, construction methods and more, they are equipped with the tools needed to make sure every detail of your home meets or exceeds expectations. Ultimately, hiring an interior designer will save you time and money while ensuring beautiful results that you'll love for years to come! 2023.06.10 11:12 postmfext Two Story Young Adult/Childrens Book, one part is about pair of mermaid brothers, other part is about mermaid girl who is washed ashore and needs to be returned to sea before she dies.
As I remember it, the outside of the book is small and blue, and I believe the title is some pun on “tales”, like it’s mermaid tales or tails or smth like that. It’s a two part novel, geared for younger audiences.
The part that I remember most vividly is the one with two mermaid-descended brothers. They are orphaned from their mermaid mother, and adopted by a family of humans, who choose to hide the brothers’ heritage. The town that they live in is traumatized by a flood, so they are particularly water averse, and socially the boys are isolated.
Specific parts I remember include:
-Passages describing the boys’ unique anatomy, like their webbed fingers and toes, and excellent swimming ability. One or both are described as being able to palm a basketball and/or play an entire piano duo by themselves.
-This part of the story centers the perspective of a teenaged girl, who is best friends with these teenaged boys. When the boys decide to run away, she goes with them.
-The girl that the story centers around has lost her mother. She is being raised by a single father, who is being accosted by/is dating a local woman who really gets on the nerves of the protagonist. I can’t remember which perspective the story took, because it has been at least a decade since I read it.
-Her Mother was a dance teacher, and there was something to do with a scarf, and perhaps casserole? I was very young when I read this, and certain details are muddy.
-Finally, I remember a distinct scene where the boys’ decidecto paint their room blue, to resemble the ocean, and their flood-traumatized father repaints the room in white to avoid the triggering memories of the flood, and to avoid the boys being reminded of their (suppressed) mermaid origins.
As for the second part, I do not remember it as clearly. There is a girl who is staying at her grandfathers place for the summer, she encounters a female mermaid. The mermaid is “beached”, and i believe she is moved about town with a wheelchair. She is constantly shedding scales, and this is a sign of her declining health. The longer she is away from the water, the sooner she begins to die.
This is quite a long summary, but I just really want to find this book. Thank you for the help.

2023.06.10 09:11 Love-n-laughter727 AITAH
AITAH? I’m My son (11M) recently made friend with a little boy whose grandma lives behind us (14M) let’s call him J. This boy is about 3 years older than my son, so I was hesitant about him spending the night. Bc it was at my house & he is one of the few boys in our neighborhood (it’s literally ALL little girls, which is no issue, but they tend to gang up on my son). I allowed it. The next morning I find out, I am now responsible for watching J ALL day until his grandma gets home at 5 pm. I was upset as I had errands and a job to go to that day (luckily I own my own business). Had to cancel my oil change appointment and postpone my job to not arrive until 7/8 pm (it’s 1 hour away cleaning a rental property). I had previously invited him to the beach with us the following day. When 5 pm rolls around, I tell him it’s time to go home bc I have to leave. He asks “do you have to leave or do I have to leave?” I said both. I thought this was very clear prior to this convo. He tries to argue about him staying when I’m at work. I told him no, I won’t be home so he needs to go. While I’m getting ready to go, he asks several more times if he has to go. I say yes. Then he says “I wish I could spend the night again, it would be easier”. I tell him no, for multiple reasons…. Then explain those reasons more than once as he is either not understanding or blatantly ignoring me. Finally when he has his stuff to go, he asks what time to be at my house in the morning. I told him I was unsure, since I’m just now leaving for work, I plan to sleep in and don’t want him up waiting around, but we will definitely call him. I even asked how long it takes for him to get ready, so we could make sure to give him plenty of time to be prepared before we leave. Again, he asks me this question at least 7 times. Then asks WHY I can’t give him a time. I get a little short and say “I don’t have a time right now, and I don’t want you sitting around waiting, or showing up at my door and being turned away, but we are going”. It literally takes all of us to force this child out of my house so I can leave for work. The next morning he shows up at 9 am with his beach stuff. I’m pissed. I told him I am sleeping and we would go later, and that I explained this & we’d call him when we are getting ready. He tells me I NEVER said that and that I told him to come over first thing in the morning. (Mind you, I’m half asleep). I told this teenage boy “No, I told you not to show up unannounced and that we have your phone number and would call you when we had a time”. He said “no you didn’t… you never said that”. And began telling me a complete lie as if I don’t remember what I said. I say, “so now you’re calling me a liar?” At this point my 2 daughters come out of the room wondering what is going on… bc this boy is at my door arguing with me about something ALL of them heard me say not once, not twice, not even 3 times, but at least 7 times. Not to mention, I found out him and my son were on Omegle talking to strangers in the middle of the night during their sleepover, without my knowledge, so I was going to let him know my son was punished and not bringing a friend anymore… which he would have known if he waited for the phone call. I feel bad, like maybe I was rude. But seriously, who is teaching this kid manners? There were a few other things that rubbed me the wrong way the night of the sleepover (constantly repeating myself when telling this kid not to do things and him doing it anyways, being manipulative trying to get him way). that I was thinking this friendship was a bad idea…. one thing was blatantly clear, he does not listen to adults and does whatever he wants. This is not tolerated in my house. It will be awkward bc his grandma lives directly behind me. He is there every other weekend during school and at least 1 month out of every summer. How do I handle this? Do I bother going to grandma or will that make it more awkward without having any change/benefit to the situation?

2023.06.10 07:07 CantThinkofAName150 Dog peed on my leg at restaurant tonight
So my husband and myself went for our weekly relaxing dinner and drinks at this restaurant on the beach. We really love this place, the staff, the food, and the staff likes us a lot. Also, we live in Mexico, I’m from another country to the north and my husband is a local. Anyway, some stupid street dogs were fighting on the beach and one came up to the patio and peed on my leg and the table leg. So disgusting and infuriating!!! I was already pissed because of the barking and snarling going on but that just took the cake! I yelled at the filthy animal and the other one that was still on the beach barking. My fellow foreigners looked at me as if I was the devil incarnate as if to say “how dare you talk to poor doggo woggo like that you evil b**ch!!” Luckily my husband mean mugged them back and they didn’t say anything. Mostly venting because I texted my friends back in my birth country about it and one said “Blame the owner” and another said that it was disgusting and surprised I didn’t do something and then asked what’s up with white people and dog obsession? They’re not nutters by any means btw. Like how about I bring my parrots and let them scream and crap everywhere? How about I go pee on the nutter’s table and sniff their food and crotches? Oh, and the people that mean mugged me also had a beast WITH a wagon, a dog bed, and toys. At least it was well behaved but still, leave it at home! Not to mention that they were parked right next to the live music. Another note, so many foreigners brag about “rescuing” dogs here and shipping them to the US and Canada. They spend thousands and thousands of dollars on these worthless street nuts but don’t help some of the locals living in literal squalor. People will post about needing a blood donor for a surgery and no one respond but god forbid there’s a street dog someone posts about and people come out of the woodwork to “help”. Completely insane. What about horses, birds, and other pets. They need “help” too.
Vent over 🙄

2023.06.10 03:11 Redhead-Behaviorist Info/opinions of Kayak @ Owens Beach
Anyone have opinions of Owen’s Beach kayak rentals? Or any info as to if they rent out quick, etc? Friends and I are staying nearby in July before we go up and stay in Seattle and I was looking at fun outdoor activities to do. It’s my bachelorette party so it’s a larger group of like 10 of us, not sure if doing a few doubles and singles is an easy swing or if the rentals go fast, how hard it might be to get enough for all of us. There aren’t any good reviews online, figured I’d ask here. TIA!

2023.06.10 01:31 IridiumViper [Request] Birthday cards? [US]
Hi new friends! My birthday is coming up toward the end of the month, and I was wondering if I could request some birthday cards? I’ve done offers and exchanges, but never a request, so I figured a birthday is a good occasion for one!
A little about me: I LOVE turtles (I originally wanted my username to be IridiumTurtle…long story…), reptiles in general, beach/ocean/aquatic life, the color pink, books, and pretty much anything floral or with bright colors.
I would so greatly appreciate any cards that people are willing to send! And of course, I will post a thank you for each card :) Thank you to everyone here for welcoming me into this kind, generous community!

2023.06.09 22:30 Flying_Snails_today Steven Universe vs Invincible analysis Cosmic Clash
Genesis: Back thousands of years ago a gem named Rose Quartz was made on Earth! You see these space aliens called gems were killing the planet to make more of them and Rose wasn’t with that so she lead a rebellion called the Crystal Gems to take on the diamonds who were the leader of the gems. She ended up shattering Pink Diamond but yellow, blue and white diamond retaliated by leavening a blast that covered all of the planet affecting every gem turning them into monsters! Only Rose and some of her closest allies remained but she soon settled down with a human named Greg and gave up her body to make a son. Steven Universe.
Snail: Steven may look like the small chubby kid who gets bullied in school but he’s anything but! This kid saves the day with the Crystal Gems!
Genesis: Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl! And Steven started off weak and powerless be became stronger from his adventures with the gems even unlocking some of his mom’s abilities!
Snail: Such as his mothers shield able to block an attack from three diamonds that covered the entire planet!
Genesis: He can make bubbles to teleport small objects away or shield himself. He can also use them as makeshift boxing gloves to fight with!
Genesis then made some magical boxing gloves she used to knockout Snail
Genesis: Like that!
One Angry Snail getting up later
Snail: So mad at you I just can’t… Whatever Steven has control over his personal gravity being able to slow his falling and jump insane heights! He also scales to Garnet who was able to punch a damn mountain in half! That’s badass! But with all of this in mind Steven was treated like a child by his fellow gems. And while he was he wasn’t treated like a member of the team.
Genesis: Yeah like when your mom needs to take you to the movies with her friends on girls night since your dads not around and she doesn’t want you home alone
Snail: That’s not oddly specific or anything.
Genesis: What?!
Snail: Steven would gain the respect he so desperately wanted through many of his missions with the Gems! He is stronger then Lapis who lifted all the ocean on Earth at once! That’s roughly 352,670,000,000,000,000,000 gallons of water! That’s like an entire planet man!
Genesis: Almost as much as your mo-
Snail then slapped her in the face
Genesis: Yeah I deserve that…
Snail: Steven has dodged laser from near point blank, he can survive the g force of light speed travel, he even lifted a giant injector!
Genesis: This injector had enough poison in it to wipe out all life on Earth! And it was already a giant metal space ship thing! And Steven was able to lift it for a short time when his powers were fading!
Snail: So Steven after trail and trail fight after fight manage to save the universe by redeeming the diamonds!
Genesis: Bad writing aside Steven always had shows looming over his head the biggest one his mother
Snail: GOD DAMN IT NOT AGAIN!
Genesis: Turns out Rose was actually Pink Diamond and she was a lier who manipulated all her friends and even had them trapped for thousands of years!
Snail: Fuckin parents… yeah Rose was a shitty person and even years after her death Steven was stuck with people thinking he was his mom.
Genesis: Combine that with years of mental trauma from getting almost killed repeatedly and you have Steven go into a breakdown. Or his pink state
Snail: While pink Steven can move faster than his light dodging friends the crystal gems. He moved so fast that time moves at a near standstill for him! His powers also go into overdrive with him getting stronger, the power to straight up fly, screams loud enough to crack buildings, and new hexagon versions of his bubbles that are way stronger and more destructive! But he’s way more unhinged he’s losing control in this form to the point where he killed a gem.
Genesis: After bringing her back to life Steven felt like a monster and he spiraled into self hate creating monster Steven.
Snail: He lost all control but with the love of his friends and family Steven was able to calm down.
Genesis: While Steven struggled over learned to be a gem his greatest feat was being human.
Mayo_Enjoyer:every world needs a invincible hero except this one isn't invincible, meet Mark grayson the son of Nolan grayson who's more commonly known as omni man. Mark is a viltrumite like his father, viltrumites are a human like alien race who decided to kill off most of their population just to leave the strongest ones and they then started to conquer planets from the inside, Nolan was send to conquer earth he decided to play along as a hero, and after some hand holding with his pet I mean wife a baby was born because holding hands makes babies, and that baby was Mark grayson.
Mayo_Enjoyer:when Mark first discovered his powers he was lost but luckily for him his father was there to help him learn his powers and then mark started doing hero stuff, he fought against criminals, fought against a alien invasion, got his ass kicked by battle beast which I don't blame him for because battle beast is like the second if not the strongest character in the entire series, saved people got the girl and did some hero stuff until that day, one day mark found out that his dad is actually a alien conquer breed to kill and enslave other planets so he got his ass kicked so hard it became a meme maybe mark should think more often, anyways I'm not going to spoil the comics so to the abilities and feats we go.
Mayo_Enjoyer:Mark's viltrumite origin grants him several abilities such as super strength, super speed, flight, enchanted lung capacity, a ability which makes him stronger every time he gets beaten into a pulp, longevity, a enchanted healing factor, mark got all the basic powers now time for his feats, hurth thragg the strongest viltrumite who upscales from every viltrumite in the series, tanked hits from thragg while sun dipping in a fight with him on the sun, threw a trash can to London, played baseball over the globe, traveled from planet to planet, temporary outspeed teleportation, was unfazed by a nuke, killed thragg's kids, was able to fight while sun dipping, took a beating from battle beast and survived, was able to force dinosaurus to transform back, defeated conquest, defeated thragg who was able to defeat battle beast. That's all impressive feats of mark Grayson and now it's time for him to show that he's invincible

2023.06.09 21:23 23027 I Began Collecting (Story)
| Im really struggling to keep interest in games today. There is truly something missing in many of the storylines that cater to mature minds, but more importantly in the strategy of gameplay. I miss solid single player story mode gaming. I understand why companies have shifted in the direction we have mainly today, but it's really not something that satisfies me. The entire HL series was so significant to me growing up. I just recently have been diving back into these titles and I've been starting to look around to buy the games that were so life changing to me. I'm beginning to see more value investing into my old games rather than new titles today. I miss that excitement I used to carry with me walking into London Drugs, walking into the all mighty Computer lair lit up with blue fluorescent lighting, and seeing an entire wall of beautifully displayed games, advertising themselves through their box artwork. This was the modern day vinyl album of the computer world. You could spend over an hour looking at the different boxes with the gameplay screenshots and written summaries of what you could expect from each title, like you might do cruising through a book store searching for that perfect read to take home and invest yourself into. Or the Video Rental store and walking through the isles, quickly studying each movie box cover for the one that would catch your eye, draw you in with curiosity. Game developers used to put effort into their boxes, because it was their own advertising. I didn't look in an online store, I wouldn't shop through mobile apps. There were no "content creators" getting the word out there. My friend circle word of mouth recommendations and the odd PC Gamer magazine would give me some idea of what to hunt for, and visiting the store and holding these damn boxes is what always made me bring them home with me. I'll never forget that experience, being driven home with my newly cherished game. Feverishly reading the manual so I could install it the second I got back to my desktop rig. Analyzing the unique cd-key that was uniquely my very own and would be protected at any cost, as if it was a top secret Switzerland bank account number. (The satisfaction when you input the key, amen.) Pouring over every word and studying each photo on the box, creatively imagining exactly how incredible my experience playing these games would be. Playing them off this hype was sensational. Little would I realize at the time that this method, build up to playing a game would forever be changed by our advancement into the online shopping world and before I realized, become extinct entirely. The profit would become more important than the experience provided. I still make every effort to make sure I always obtain a physical copy of each game I buy today (Series X and Switch) but it's just not the same. No game manuals. Tiny cases. There is no build up between seeing the game on the shelf and bringing it home for me anymore. I'm sad at the thought of future kids never experiencing things the way I did. I suppose my parents generation felt this way with vinyl (which I have also begun, along with VHS. What wonderful worlds!) Anywho.. So after spending some time and money investing into my N64 and PS2 collection, I've made my first vintage PC title purchase and I think it's been the perfect start. I managed to find someone selling a Half Life Platinum Collection complete box set, for only $10 CAD. Local to me, picked a location I knew very well. I figured there would be some missing bits, the photos included didn't show much and looked more like a pixelated online screenshot of the box art. No big deal, if the CD's were there with the cases I would be happy, or if it's totally complete then it must be a typo, probably $100. That's fine. I was prepared to spend the money anyways. We meet up, and it's the complete box, all game cd's, cases, manuals. LEGIT. Minty condition! I conservatively hand him a crisp purple $10 bill (Canada money, lol) "Ten bucks, yeah?" Fully expecting him to realize he's made an error in his posting and to correct me. Nope! "Perfect! Thanks! Have a great evening!" I'm walking back to my vehicle and thought "what if...", so I quickly flagged him down as he was getting back into his vehicle "Hey, i forgot to ask. Do you happen to have more old games you're looking to get rid of? I'm starting to collect games I used to play growing up and would love to buy whatever you might have" He says "Actually, I have 3 more of these. They're in the car right now! I bought 4 of them so that I could LAN party with my wife and 2 kids when they were growing up. We don't play these old games anymore though, they like Fortnite and Apex so we don't have a use for these anymore on our new machines." "Wow, that's really cool! You must have had so much fun together. You want $10 for each one?" "Sure!" "I'll take them all." He and his wife proceeded to start opening all the boxes, to show me that each box was complete with every CD, manual, and that each CD was in fact inside each CD case. I explained that I trust them, and they insisted that they always make sure for each transaction they are fully transparent because it gives them peace of mind. Good honest people! It was during this time when the vivid spectrum of each and every CD colour were being made seen to my naked eye as proof (politely, I will say) that we ventured into some small talk. 4 CD's per box, 4 boxes. There was time. I enjoy small talk with strangers anyways. They begin asking how I knew the area because anyone else they've met there always struggled to locate it. Explained I grew up there, and where I went to school. They asked which high school, and what year I graduated. Their oldest daughter was sitting in the back seat and when she heard, spun around backwards to ask "What's your last name!?". I asked her what year she graduated, it was 2 years before me (I graduated high school in 2008) and I said "I think you graduated with my little brother. Do you know first + last name??? She freaked out with excitement that we had made this wild connection into her past. I pointed to the vehicle I came in and said "he's sitting in that car right now!" Door flies open, she runs up to the vehicle and we're all excitedly chatting away for 10 minutes before we wrap it up with a few hugs. She'd known my brother pretty well through school (same grad class) and ended up being his manager when he worked at McDonalds for a couple years back in the day. Went along with life and lost touch until that night! Turns out their family owns an internet Cafe which better explained how they came into these games in the first place. When LAN gaming was a big deal! So yeah! Overall I'm incredibly pleased how this all came to be. It almost felt like it was meant to happen this way, as if this symbolic warm and safe figure was holding the door open for me, making sure my doubts investing money in "nice to have" items in my life during financial hard times were met with some luck and reassurance that it would be worth the small setback.. "Come right along little one, you are safe here with us." The quest continues.. submitted by 23027 to HalfLife [link] [comments] |
